Hernandez and Guerrero get themselves out. Why would anyone throw them a strike. Tellers can’t handle a high fastball. Biggio is what he is - below average. Jays need some serious development and Montoya sure doesn’t look like he’s capable

This team is kind of a joke. Could easily be a few games over .500 but they just aren’t ready to contend anyways. So many mistakes. Even if they somehow made it to the playoffs, there’s no f***ing way Montoyo would be able to manage a series win. Need to clean out the coaching staff next season and reset.

Except for the part where Hernandez has been on fire since the second half of last season, and that Guerrero has a wRC+ over 150 in August and in no way at all is Biggio remotely below average, you're right on with this post.

Hernandez has horrible plate discipline. He will regress to his career average as teams stop throwing him fastballs. Guerrero has super discipline in the minors, we don’t see that w Toronto. He swings at way too many bad pitches.

 

Biggio will not be an above average MLB player - why is he batting leadoff?

If Biggio can get his BA up a bit (which I think he will) he's on target to hit between 25 and 30 dingers and an OPS of around 800 (assuming he gets 500 PA's).
