He's done exactly what we all worried he'd do on a long term deal - completely sh*t the bed. He's now on a path to become the most hated player in Blue Jays history. We all know he'll crumble when fans start boo'ing him every at bat. He's got no jam. Where the f*ck have I said that this season? I'll wait.

A great hitter that's zoned in will be great no matter what, but once you lose that feeling, the game today makes it very difficult to get it back. For Vlad it's very much mechanical and seems to be (at least to me) nagging injury related. It definitely can be fixed IF he a) acknowledges there is a problem, b) lets someone show him what the problem is and c) lets someone show him how to fix it. The pride factor is probably very strong with him too as a guy who's always been successful doing things his own way and he truly may not yet be capable of acknowledging the real problem.

We leave him unprotected and some new team says "f*** it" and picks him up? Is that dreamy enough?

Laika Community Moderator Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Vlad's lineout last night was probably his best swing since April He's back
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I bet on Vlad to go yard today. His last HR at home was off of Gilbert
