Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Did you report him Jim? Of course I didn't report his infantile post
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Who needs the politics thread to dunk on Jim when he's been dunking on himself here.

Laika Community Moderator Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 If a random poster.... Let's call him James, smeared s*** on his face and Facetimed his cousin.... Like honesty, why did I say that? What is wrong with me? Why do these thoughts enter my head?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Freud would say it's related to some sort of repressed urge to bang your own mother.
Laika Community Moderator Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 Freud would say it's related to some sort of repressed urge to bang your own mother. I feel like something bad happened to me as a kid and one of these days I will remember
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 It's a little odd that Steamer has still posted a projection for the 2022 season for Skaggs. At what point will they end any such projection? Well, this was predicted to happen by 2020, so you never know
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 You could smear s*** on your own face and facetime your cousin and it would make more sense than this post He's 100% done this. Except the s*** belonged to a pair of supermodels he just banged and one was married to a billionaire.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Well, this was predicted to happen by 2020, so you never know Damn it. This brought back memories of some old-school baseball game where you hit a HR and it went into space and such. Now it’s going to bug me what the game was

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 f***. That’s not it. Lol. Idk Can you remember which entertainment system it was from, 3-foot?

Now it’s going to bug me what the game was You might be thinking of baseball simulator 1.000. The players could have superpowers that really spiced up the gameplay, such as flaming fastballs, pitches thrown with a shot put or cannonball which were impossible to hit, rocket hit ability for hitters, space leap for outfielders etc.

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Can you remember which entertainment system it was from, 3-foot? Prob SNES. I only remember like the stick figure baseball game when NES came out and RBI baseball. I think it was in the era when you could keep stats but not sure. Good times though.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Going OT but video games seem to be a good long term investment. Zelda original went for around $1m. Super Mario 65 which came way later $1.5m. I’m not a big gamer but something like GTA1 or something mint in another 20 years would prob pay for your kids college
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Of course prob a lot of people think like that and there will still be a lot of supply

Older games can be worth a bit though. In terms of "newer" systems, PS1 and PS2 games are pretty hot right now.

So if you could have an unopened mint game 50 years old, could be worth some serious bank if a lot of other ppl don’t do it

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2022 Posted February 23, 2022 Holy f***, I owned every game and the original system, f***. Dont worry man, the kinds of games selling for that kind of money are factory sealed, never opened or seen the light of day kind of thing. I doubt that's what you were giving away to your cousins kids.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2022 Posted February 23, 2022 Faaaaack, I through those to my cousins kids too, lol They went to a good cause then I've sold a few PS2 games in the $20 to $30 range on eBay. Most are around $10 though (shipping included). If you see a big lot of them cheap and in good condition, you can make decent money on them. You won't be paying for college with one sale though.
