Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 That really sucks. Not that it's good timing to mention, but the Angels could really, REALLY use someone like Stroman now, especially only being 4.5 back in the wildcard.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 He didn’t pass away, he f***ing died. Brutal.

Not that it's good timing to mention, but the Angels could really, REALLY use someone like Stroman now, especially only being 4.5 back in the wildcard. This is the end of their season. They just lost 3 in a row to the A’s (a wildcard rival) and their best starter has died tragically. There’s no coming back from that.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2019 Author Posted July 1, 2019 f***ing hell http://i.imgur.com/ejvvhwY.jpg

Really puts things into perspective. Enjoy everyday as its your last. Enjoy everyday with your family and friends. Cherish those moments.
Barkerfan23 Verified Member Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Police not suspecting foul play. Hope it's not ped related
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Police not suspecting foul play. Hope it's not ped related If we’re taking just complete random odds, you’d have to go suicide #1. Something like undetected irregular heartbeat (maybe triggered by something) #2, Behind that you have some kind of PED and/or coke combo, heroin/fentanyl (not really a baseball player mo though), natural death...
TheHurl Site Manager Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Police not suspecting foul play. Hope it's not ped related PED's have never killed anyone.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 PED's have never killed anyone. Sure they can if there’s underlying issues.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Yikes. RIP. Likely drugs Why drugs?? Could be some type of congenital heart defect or maybe a stroke
TheHurl Site Manager Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 This puts the Angels in tied for 2nd in active player deaths at 5, trailing only the Reds at 6.

It's already been declared suicide not suspected... as some other suggested prob PED + congenital defect, or just the defect by itself.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 (edited) Why drugs?? Could be some type of congenital heart defect or maybe a stroke It absolutely could be. You're right. But it just seems like whenever we hear this type of description, 9 times out of 10 is something to do with drugs. Not that it really matters... He's not coming back. Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 This puts the Angels in tied for 2nd in active player deaths at 5, trailing only the Reds at 6. Is there a "dead pool" somewhere? You seemed to get that info pretty easily.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 I had a friend die at like 22-23 in Vegas (I wasn’t there). He just started being a professional boxer. Was using roids and also did some coke out there, he had some kind of undetected condition and that was it. Unresponsive in the hotel room
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Oh my God, RIP. Condolences to his family, tragic.

Ex Player Verified Member Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 I heard some players are still using ephedra. I hope its not that. Its what killed Steve Bechler
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 I heard some players are still using ephedra. I hope its not that. Its what killed Steve Bechler Clenbuterol will always be a popular athlete drug. That can take a big toll on the heart. On a smaller scale, ephedra does too
