Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 How about you go take a spin cycle on a T-Rex sized dick ya f***ing geriatric douchecanoe. This is the Around Baseball thread and provided a live stream, knob jockey. Is it certain that the T-Rex even had a dick? My bearded dragon is a boy but he doesn't have a penis that I can see.

BTS Community Moderator Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 A bit surprised O’Day got a guaranteed 2.25M at 37 coming off a lost season
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 A bit surprised O’Day got a guaranteed 2.25M at 37 coming off a lost season I just read that, thought it was fine. I mean it's 2M? What do you think about the Jays going after Calhoun?
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 Either does spanky I've been T-Rekt!!! *f***ing knee slapper*
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 Not sure, look it up ya nerd. Yeah, because the penis is a bone and would be preserved in a fossil.

KevinGregg Verified Member Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 The baculum (also penis bone, penile bone, or os penis, or os priapi) is a bone found in the penis of many placental mammals. It is absent in the human penis, but present in the penises of other primates, such as the gorilla and chimpanzee.
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 lizards and snakes have the penis divided into two: this is known as hemipenis. It is kept inside the tail and exits to the outside during intercourse thanks to the erectile tissues. In spite of being double, during intercourse they only introduce one of the parts into the female, although they can do it alternately. The ends can be smooth or have spikes or structures to ensure grip to the female’s cloaca.

Ray Verified Member Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Seems like the Pirates are down to two people for their GM position: Ben Cherington and Matt Arnold. I really hope Cherington ends up staying. It won't be a disaster to lose him or anything, but a lot of Red Sox fans were attributing their 2016-2018 success partly because of the foundation he set. Hard to pin down exactly what he's done/did for us so far, but more smart people in the front office is always good.

I'm fine with a player relaying signs from second base. But when you have someone watching a TV and banging on a garbage can, it's very Belichek/Brady-ish...which I hate. Cheat the right way, win the right way!

I don't really care. I'm sure the FB/Twitter world is outraged and want an asterisk next to the 2017 World Series Championship now. I'm sure that like you, they've drawn many comparisons with Patriots and posted lots of unoriginal memes, which they mistakenly think makes them feel cleaver. I'm also sure if you tried to have a discussion on the matter with them - they've already made up their mind. so yeah - blah.
BTS Community Moderator Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Waino back to St. Louis for another year. 5M guaranteed and 5M in incentives. I wonder if they’re just IP incentives.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Waino back to St. Louis for another year. 5M guaranteed and 5M in incentives. I wonder if they’re just IP incentives. Pretty good deal for the Cards. Probably deserved more guaranteed money, perhaps even the full 10 mil. But if the incentives are easy enough like IP incentives then it might not matter.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Not saying this is definitive evidence, but here might be an instance of the Astros using the CF camera to relay the pitches, pretty much as soon as the sign is put down. I don't know, I feel like this is pretty s*****. There's a difference between a team simply picking up a pitcher's movements that may be tipping them off or a guy on base relaying signs and using technology to do so, when it's not allowed.

Exactly. I have zero issue with teams picking up on a pitcher tipping pitches or relaying signs from second. There's really no difference in cheating between the catcher sending signs to the pitcher and a player on the field decoding them and sending them to the batter. Doing it with technology during the game though, that's a definite no. MLB needs to get their act together and figure out a way to stop it, as well as dramatically increase the penalties associated with doing so.

Thought he'd get around 8 guaranteed this year, especially after holding up for like 3 great starts in the playoffs.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Yeah, the Astros being cheaters is the least surprising baseball news ever.
Laika Community Moderator Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Honestly, MLB should perhaps strip Houston of their banners if this stuff is proven (depending on how deep it runs) and any player or staff member implicated should be suspended under the PED punishment schedule. I don't think I can be convinced otherwise. Houston's moral depravity is a blight on the game. The organization sold its soul a few years ago. There is now a laundry list of immoral acts. This one happens to be straight up cheating, though.

I mean there are players on every team in baseball that cheat. Would a team really set up this elaborate system to cheat - knowing all their players would be privy to the cheating (and thus obviously knowing that eventually, someone would rat them out?) What if the TV in the tunnel was simply running the TV broadcast and players took it upon themselves to stand there, watch it, pick up on the signals and then relay them from the bench (just as they would if a pitcher was tipping his pitches - which they could see from their angle on the bench).

Lol you actually don't see the difference? Jesus Christ. Is tipping pitches intentional? No, obviously not. Not tipping pitches is a requirement to be a good pitcher. Is relaying pitch selection to a pitcher intentional because there's no one on second to steal signs? Yes, there's an assumption it's safe because there shouldn't be anyone there to see what they're doing. That you can't tell the difference between noticing trends and using technology to cheat is pretty amazing, imo.
