Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 (edited) Trout came out of the game after 3 innings, injury? Mike Trout leaves game with undisclosed injury by Brendan Tuma | Angels Correspondent | Tue, Apr 9th 11:49pm EDT Mike Trout left Tuesday’s game versus the Brewers in the fourth inning. (Maria Torres on Twitter) Fantasy Impact: It’s unclear what type of injury Trout could be dealing with, or if he’s even injured at all. The Angels have yet to provide a reason for his departure but should do so soon. Peter Bourjos took over in center field. Edited April 10, 2019 by Spanky99
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 lol @ this weather description for the Rockies game in Denver... RED / ORANGE ATL @ COL - There is a legit Blizzard Warning issued by the NWS for this game. It starts rainy, then snowy, then snowy and windy, then full on blizzard. Even if they could play this game before it gets too ugly, they would be asking people to drive home in conditions that could literally kill them. That's not good for PR, and this weather is no good for baseball, I expect a PPD.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 lol @ this weather description for the Rockies game in Denver... It was 80 degrees here yesterday!

TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 So the Rays have fixed Meadows and Glasnow?
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 the rays could win the ws without spending money ftfy. As an aside the Rays were 40-1 on Friday. Down to 18-1 today. They go from great value to blah.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 So the Rays have fixed Meadows and Glasnow? Don't forget Yandy Diaz too. The Rays continue to make incredible moves.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Don't forget Yandy Diaz too. The Rays continue to make incredible moves. And what do the Jays do? Bunt.
Ray Verified Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 And what do the Jays do? Bunt. I like how you praise the Rays while mocking the Blue Jays for bunting without realizing that the Rays bunted 3rd most in the AL last year.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Don't forget Yandy Diaz too. The Rays continue to make incredible moves. Yup. Jays can't out-Ray the Rays. They scare me more than Boston and New York.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 And the Rays could be 5 games up in the AL East if NY and Baltimore lose tonight, as the A's are crushing the Orioles and the Astros lead the Yankees. Meanwhile, the rest of the AL East is struggling for the following reasons: Yankees (injuries, Paxton/Happ struggling, Chad Green with a 9 ERA) Orioles (dumpster fire of a bullpen--44 runs given up--starters aren't much better) Blue Jays (Can't hit!) Red Sox (SP is awful, hitting is mediocre, OF defense has regressed) With all of those problems, it's no surprise Tampa is curbstomping--now we have to wait and see how they play in their own division.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Watching the Cubbies on WGN... They're not looking good. Playing some sloppy and uninspired ball. Looking like they're gonna fall to 3-8 on the year.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 With all of those problems, it's no surprise Tampa is curbstomping--now we have to wait and see how they play in their own division. They have a team that could quietly surprise a lot of people. Their outfield of Pham, Kiermaier, and Meadows looks legit, Adames at SS, Yandy Diaz at 3rd could be a breakout guy (or continue his breakout from last year), Lowe/Robertson/Duffy/Wendle form a nice combo at 2nd/3rd/DH. Maybe they can fix Zunino offensively. I mean, that's a lineup with a lot of underrated talent. Their starting pitching of Snell, Morton, Glasnow and 'openers' followed by Chirinos and Yarbrough might be one of the better ones in baseball.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Lol Jordan Lyles is just mowing down the Cubs. 10 K's through 6... WTF!?! haha
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Hold on to your butts. Trevor Rosenthal is in to protect a 15-run lead in the 9th and things could get dicey.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 And he just recorded an out! His ERA now sitting at 189.00.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 And he just recorded an out! His ERA now sitting at 189.00. lmao
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 He managed to escape only giving up 1 run with a 15 run lead lol. Small victories!
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 The Royals running a top of the lineup of Merrifield, Hamilton, and Mondesi. Pitchers had better not let them reach base, or they'll have nightmares for weeks.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 I like how you praise the Rays while mocking the Blue Jays for bunting without realizing that the Rays bunted 3rd most in the AL last year. It was sarcasm.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 WTF? A double steal down by one with two outs in the ninth? That's ... bold.
