Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Anything for Loup is lovely to be honest. I wil take a lottery ticket and this finally allows Mayza to get an extended look.
Laika Community Moderator Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 I will forever mis-remember Aaron Loup's face as being a lot more "Fetal Alcohol Syndrome-ey" than it actually is.
Superdood Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Good riddance, couldn't stand Loup.

LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Cant imagine we'll get anyone in their top 30 but f*** it, I'll take a vintage Ken Giles shirtsey for Loup
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 31, 2018 Author Posted July 31, 2018 Holy crap, Loup pitched in 369 games here. I barely considered him part of the team.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Best of luck to Loup, gave us a few solid seasons and looks like he'll gain us some sort of asset for his last couple months of control. Pretty solid value out of a 9th round pick.
King Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Holy crap, Loup pitched in 369 games here. I barely considered him part of the team. He's pretty much an afterthought. But he's been on the team since 2012, and in the organization since 2006.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Luckily Todd has been around and will be able to give us a full report on the prospect that likely none of us have ever heard of.

King Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Jays get Jacob Waguespack. 24 years old in AAA, seems like starting pitching depth.
LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 RHP Jacob Waguespack coming back for Loup
glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Seriously, the only times I remember Loup is still on the team is when he's brought into a game. I'm not expecting much.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Holy crap, Loup pitched in 369 games here. I barely considered him part of the team. He was quietly a very nice reliever for a lot of years now who for some reason or another could never break the hump into being truly good but never went bad either. Solid tenure with the organization.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 So who is the longest tenured Blue Jay now? Russell Martin?

LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 His xFIP, K/9 and GB% numbers are actually quite decent
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 He has given up 10 HRs in his professional career which began in 2015. Seems like a unique skill maybe?

intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Undercurrent to this trade is the Phillies warning Freddie Freeman to back the f*** up.

sdyment Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 His transaction page is a bit lengthy... up and down multiple times in the last month. Doesn’t really bode well... but you’re right, some of the numbers aren’t horrible if you squint.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 I had never heard of this guy until just now but considering his age and MiLB numbers I'm quite pleased with the return.

Organizations treat those guys like a plate of mashed potatoes.
