Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Waguespack is about as pretty as his name though. High grade nose on him. You're not kidding. What a beak.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 His numbers are actually decent. A bit surprised Loup returned someone who might be kinda interesting. Yeah he seems like a #7 SP type for the next 3 years while he has options. Anything more than that would be gravy.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Why am i getting a Scott Richmond vibe from this guy. Better then i thought we would get from Loup

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Pitcher with no MLB service time who can spend his option years providing depth, starting immediately. More than I expected for Loup.
jerb Verified Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Eric Longenhagen @longenhagen Jacob Waguespack (from PHI to TOR for Aaron Loup) four-pitch righty with 90-93mph fastball. Odd-looking drop and drive delivery creates good angle on the fastball up in the zone. Could be solid reliever if one of the offspeed pitches (he has three) is tuned up. He's 24, at AAA.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 I will forever mis-remember Aaron Loup's face as being a lot more "Fetal Alcohol Syndrome-ey" than it actually is. LOL funny cause it's true.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Rogers shills dumpster diving again! Oops, thought I was commenting on Sportsnet LOL. This is kinda true. This guy really is a nobody...and now one should've expected anything more really. Loup had no real value and that's precisely the type of return we got back...and that's perfectly fine. Just clearing house of guys like Loup and Axford is good enough for me. Give someone else a crack. Mayze will be effective I believe...
