There is enough stories out there now and the Team has said nothing. I KNOW those are not good things. Still opinion, mixed in with the rumours that insiders are saying. Osuna will never ever pitch with the Jays again. You can give me all your "this means nothing" Innocent until proven guilty. I am here to be that guy that tells you be prepared for the Jays to lose a key asset.

Yeah this is not good. He's at least gone for the season IMO. MLB won't mess around like the NFL has. The climate for this kind of stuff is different than before too. Probably traded for 50 cents on the dollar in the off-season or straight up released.

If we are forced to trade him for less than what he's worth, we should demand that the acquiring team takes Morales too. They'd instantly DFA him, so effectively they'd just be paying money on top of whatever prospects are given up.

We've got to try to salvage something from this situation!

Downside of being owned by a big corporation is that they're going to be more concerned with Rogers reputation than winning. Probably get the Escobar treatment. Forced teary-eyed press conference, followed by an apology tour and then traded for pennies on the dollar in a bigger trade to help obfuscate the fact that we're getting nearly nothing back.

People don't connect Osuna with Rogers though. Sure Rogers owns the Blue Jays but only time the public hates on Rogers is being cheap when it comes to Jays payroll.

People have enough legitimate reasons to hate Rogers without evening considering the Blue Jays.

Toronto Blue Jays star closer Roberto Osuna’s domestic issue is said by people familiar with the case to be serious and involve allegations of a physical nature, which would draw a significant ban; though, word is that he denies doing physical harm.

This article is such clickbait ********.

Right, brutal? Not one thing new to the case at all.

I haven't seen it reported anywhere else that Osuna denies it. If true that could drag out the process (i.e. he won't be looking to strike a deal for it to be resolved quickly).

He wouldn't have been released if he didn't deny it.

I don't think that's true is it - he's on bail? Wouldn't it depend on the severity of the alleged crime for bail to be refused? I'm assuming he enters a plea at the hearing in June.

He won't even be presenting a plea until he gets disclosure on his appearance in June, it's a long process. He's not going to admit guilt is all I'm saying.

Pleads not guilty with video surveillance footage is good right? Or is this a case of pleading not guilty as to not interfere with border crossing?

He didn't plea today, just a promise to appear, his lawyer showed in his recognizance.

Just a question. Will the games he missed already be included in any suspension, should he be found guilty.

No because he has been on paid leave.

If they are I wonder how the salary would work as I believe he is still being paid at the moment.

I wonder if they'll offer him an option to return all the salary from his paid leave in exchange for every game during that previously paid leave counting as time served, in a way. Hell, I don't even know if they can. I mean, I don't know enough about the CBA to know if that's even legal.
