As long as he treats her nice, I would have no problem with any of that.

You would be a very unhappy human upon seeing initially.

I hope she brings home a BJMB veteran

And people can evolve. You can do it too.

What you are saying is..... racial profiling happens, get over it. Or..... she was wearing revealing clothing, hence the rape.

I’ll evolve when you do Jim. We’ll make it a pact.

How the f*** so?

The worst people are those that pass judgement without the facts.

Such a low opinion of yourself

I don't know who Jim is trying to fool. The guy makes snap judgements based on clickbait headlines ffs.

I think this thread proves that Godwin's Law for BJMB is no matter the topic it will lead to the conclusion that Jim is stupid and/or a hypocrite. I seriously did not see this coming in the three pages that have been added to this thread since I last checked in and yet there it is.

He looks like a dude that would hit chicks

This post should offend everyone

But me in particular given my lifelong experience as a deaf person

Well, this is developing bad. Ughhh... seriously, hitting a woman, is pretty damn low. Hopefully it isn't this bad, for everyone involved.:(

Jim, let me try to bridge the gap between our views or at least better understand yours. I’ll give you a scenario and just assume it’s all true:

Say you have a white guy. This white guy interacts with black co-workers and clients on a daily basis. When he goes out and sees a properly dressed black guy/family there’s never a time when it crosses his mind that these people aren’t just like him.

This same guy though sometimes come across black guys strolling down the street with their pants at their ankles and underwear showing. When he sees those people in his mind he’ll start attributing some of the common negative stereotypes that’s associated with blacks

Is that man a racist or no?

This was an interesting read. She's right in saying that the language of the team's release was different than what we usually see.

I don't buy into her framing this as the Blue Jays being aware of the false allegation statistics she cites - it seems far more likely that the language of the report was chosen based on the specifics of the situation.

All the evidence so far suggests that the team believes that he did do something bad.

That seems very unlikely to me, given that they're owned by Rogers.

Why do I get reprimanded for bringing up politics in the main forum, but this douche gets a free pass for bringing up this hypothetical jimbait?

I'm very triggered right now. I guess that makes me either an SJW or incel. I don't know what yet. I guess it depends on my outlet for my rage. Either setting up a university safe space and joining antifa or going for a joyride on a sidewalk. I'm also very triggered that I don't know what I am right now.

Because you are very unlikable, seldom make baseball posts, always taking your arguments off topics and to extremes that weren't part of the subject. Plus you very unlikable.

If the reports are true osunas career could be over

he's pretty well finished, please don't attack me like someone else did earlier for saying this...

Have I missed some new information about the allegations about Osuna, or is Dean Blundell taken seriously now.

Its all just heresay, we don't know anything.

Posted
Why's he finished? If Matt Bush, Jose Reyes, etc... can get back, a 23 year old elite closer will be back.

We don't even fully know what happened or what his suspension will be and his career is "pretty well finished" lol

Even if we assume the worst this isnt even Matt Bush territory. Dude was 30 throwing fastballs in a parking lot with an ankle monitor on when he made his return

Posted
Yeah even if a video comes out of him beating the crap out of her, I still think he pitches again in the MLB. He's an elite reliever and under 25 years old. You could spin it that he's made a big mistake and changed his life etc..

As I said before...sports love a rehab story. Osuna needs to say the right things and do the right things now.

I don't know man one thing for people to hear about something happening. Another to actually watch it. We can only hope no video exists. I think the best play for the Jays is once hes eligible to pitch let him establish himself a dominate reliever before looking to move him. Trading him for pennies on the dollar would be a massive mistake. Always at least one team that will take a chance on talent and not give a s*** about his character.

Does the man attribute the same stereotypes to whites and asians strolling down the streets with pants at ankles and underwear showing?
