Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Amateurs. I booked this off back in January so this wouldn't happen. This reminds me of the guys I knew who took a week off work every time a World of Warcraft expansion came out.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 This reminds me of the guys I knew who took a week off work every time a World of Warcraft expansion came out. The correct answer is to book time off for both!
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 When will Opening Day rosters be set? I.E. when do they start putting guys on the DL? My fantasy squads want to know.

I believe they have to be in to the MLB office Noon Est, opening day. Most teams will be doing it after their final games today or tomorrow officially.

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 Man, every time I've seen the Cubs play this spring, I never recognize Schwarber initially, he's done an amazing job getting in shape. Also, Butterfield's the Cubbies 3rd base coach.

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 Good read with Davidi and Buck on friction in the Union and possible labour battle, hadn't realized Buck was an integral part of the Unions in the past, neat insight. https://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/buck-martinez-warns-players-potential-forthcoming-labour-battle/

BTS Community Moderator Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 Rays are releasing Daniel Hudson, and paying him most of his 5.5M salary. What a terrible org.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2018 Author Posted March 28, 2018 Rays are releasing Daniel Hudson, and paying him most of his 5.5M salary. What a terrible org. It makes no sense at all. Eovaldi is hurt and might be out a while, which should likely push Andriese into the rotation. That means they'll need to replace Andriese's spot in the bullpen, which could've easily gone to Hudson.

They could have cut Dickerson, and come out $4+M ahead of where they are now. Surely Tristan Gray isn't worth that much to them.

Nats @ Reds PPD... not sure why, Gametime Forecast: 61°F • Light Rain • 42% PoP??? It looks like it's 75% increasing into the 90% range during the game (and basically the rest of the night). I wouldn't be surprised to see PIT - DET get rained out either, although the rain looks like it'll be a little lighter than the Nats - Reds game.
