Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Haven't watch much of him. Had a bad defensive game today. Everyone can have a bad day. Kinda miss ben revier Da Fuk? Google him for a second bud
ComeTogether Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 If he's not hurt Gibbons should be fired. osuna has been lights out. No guarantee wins for this team. They are dead last in a tough div. No reason to save him for another day.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Yes jim, Vlad Bo and throw in SRF for let's say........Jim.Johnson Francisco Rogriguez would be a better fit lol
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 They are not a playoff team. Far from it Your post history, explains yourself.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Every manager in baseball is bringing in Loup to face that gas can Gordon. That's literally Loup's only purpose in life. If he can't get the job done then he's s*** and Shatkins is s*** for employing him. Manager has no choice but to bring in the LOOGY there. Gibbons also could have looked at Loup's splits and seen that he does better against RHB and actually kept him in the game after Gordon's hit. Merrifield is a switch hitter but doesn't really matter when the alternative is f***ing Jason Grilli.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 If he's not hurt Gibbons should be fired. You honestly think holding Osuna out of a game is 100% Gibbys decision?

I would not bring in my Loogy when guys are hitting .318 off him. .318/.400 off him. Righties are hitting .220 off him. I mean you might as well have kept him in.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 This is why I wanted Gibbons fired years ago. He's the worst. Bring in a guy to close a one run game with a 7ERA. That's because yer dumn, ju1ced.
admin Site Manager Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 You honestly think holding Osuna out of a game is 100% Gibbys decision? I'd like to find out. It wouldnt' surprise me to hear Gibby say something like "I felt he needed another day's rest."
admin Site Manager Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 That's because yer dumn, ju1ced. Yeah I'm so dumb calling a terrible manager years ago lol.
admin Site Manager Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Interesting. I'd take a sick Osuna with one leg over what our other options are right now.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 He's probably sick to his stomach after watching what transpired.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 I have no idea what you're talking about. No worries, it meant free reign on being obnoxiously mad, etc...
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 He's probably sick to his stomach after watching what transpired. I know I am.
43211234 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Zika virus for Osuna? Or maybe he swallowed some chewing tobacco by accident.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 Yeah I'm so dumb calling a terrible manager years ago lol. He's far from terrible. You used to throw so much s*** at a wall, something has to pull out, right?
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 All you guys s***ing on the bullpen tonight when they have been one of the few bright spots for this team this season.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 The game imploded, right in front of him... guys need to execute, period.
wk680 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 The game imploded, right in front of him... guys need to execute, period. Yeah no excuse for that with the hitters that made that bottom of the 9th. I really feel it is a sign that this is just not our year

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 I think maybe the problem is bringing Tepera in the 8th. Because then he had some issues in the 9th and his pitch count was up. Makes sense to go to Loup (who cares what lefties hit off him this year SSS) and then it makes sense to take Loup out but Grilli is garbage. I get taking Loup out but Grilli is s***. Bottom line is 3 pitchers couldn't get it done in the 9th. No Smith no Osuna sucked.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Osuna is sick or perhaps he was caught breaking team rules or something. Something weird is up.

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 I thought Gibby did ok. The problem was that as his moves didn't pan out the worse the next option got.
wk680 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Once Loup gave up the hit who was left? On mobile Beliveau, Leone and Grilli. Grilli should really just retire and save the Jays from having to release him. He could leave with at least a shred of his dignity remaining.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Oh f***ing please. You'd be the first guy on here if Gibby left in Loup to get destroyed by a RHB. The fact that you want Loup to face RHBs based on such a small sample size makes you unqualified to say anything about Gibby to be honest. Merrifield career 81 wRC+ vs. RHP for f*** sake. Agreed. No Smith no Osuna so he used Barnes and Tepera which is probably best. Well Hosmer wore Tepera out and then a lefty came up. Loup is frustrating but hes not THAT bad. Used him he gave up a hit then he went to a righty against a right handed bat and it just didn't work out.
