All things considered it wasn't that bad. Spanky is actually getting along with o2. Feels like a win.

I don't drink whisky to get drunk. it's a sipping drink. That's why I don't mind paying good money to enjoy a good one. If I want to get drunk Vodka, Bacardi or gin are much more effective and less expensive and I don't get the really horrible hangover

Vodka is always the way to go.

vodka is nice because you can mix it with just about anything.

I've been making my own ginger ale. cloves and chili flakes to give it a bite and it's amazing with some gin in it. feels healthier lol

Have you tried Plantation rum? that stuff is insanely good.
I haven't, but you've piqued my interest. I'll grab a bottle next time I'm at the liquor store. Then I'll go home, drink it, and report back with my findings.

Don't expect a coherent report, though.

Yeah I figured. Sorry to appear hostile, I'm just so f***ing pissed that not one thing went our way in that inning, and it's just built up frustration over the course of this season.

Nah, you're good.

Weirdly enough, these games aren't really stressing me out. Outside of being annoyed whenever the s***** Rays take a game off the Jays, I'm kind of in a zen place with sports right now. I'm on such a high from the Leafs that the Jays struggles and the Cavs s***ing on the Raptors aren't really hitting me as much as maybe they should. Went so many years without seeing playoff games in Toronto sports that now that every team is succeeding simultaneously and creating these amazing moments, the slip-ups aren't as bad as they used to me.

Besides, it's just a really good time for sports in general and a really good time to be a fan. The MLB producing the second most April home runs in history, or Westbrook averaging a triple double, or the Leafs rookies breaking every rookie record... seems like every night something new and crazy might happen.

Just yesterday, Isaiah Thomas dropped 53 points in a playoff game on the same day that his sister would have become 23 years old (she died in a car accident a couple weeks ago). That's crazy. Guy had his Brett Favre moment.

Sorry for going off on a tangent but maybe being able to sit back and just take it all in will help people deal with their terrible experience with the Blue Jays right now.

about as cringe worthy as "I doubt you ever played baseball"

On the flip side, "PS Unlike most on here, I have a master's..." could be a top-notch board meme.

it's aged in cognac barrels. get the 20th anniversary. it's a sipping rum. I put some whisky stones in to chill it and just enjoy. it's not meant for mixing

Thanks for the heads up. Perhaps I'll pickup the 5-year as well, then, to really "put myself on the floor".

For a cheaper option I really like Mt. Gay rum.

Sailor Jerry's is good as well.

Home plate umps should be forced to sit down after every game they ump and view the pitch tracker shots of all their erroneous calls. I bet tonight's homeplate ump was wrong on 25% of them.

I've been big on Flor de Cana lately, it's Nicaraguan, comes in 5, 7 and 12 year and the 5 year is the same price as some cheap-ass Captain Morgan s***. The 5 and 7 both make excellent rum and cokes, and the 12 is a nice sipping rum.

I believe on average they are wrong on 15% of pitches, so 25% isn't actually as bad as you think (as sad as that is).

If your going to ruin the rum by mixing it, it really doesn't matter what you buy.
