In true perspective it is cheating. There is no skill needed to play the game when there is an opportunity to sidetrack the rules of the game. It is up to the batter to determine where the pitch will be when it comes within vicinity of the home plate not the runner at 2nd or any other person to notify him of where that pitch may go. Cheating may come in various forms but it has to be recognized as cheating and not part of the game.

Players are paid for their skill at playing the game. To cheat is not using their skill to play fairly. Accepting payment for cheating to win is false pretences and those doing so should be punished in the same manner as anyone who receives payment in that manner.

Any player in the Astros organization who knew what was going on is just as guilty as the coaches and managers who allowed it to happen. They should all lose their rings and be suspended for a specified term. This is definitely a black eye for major league baseball and cannot be taken lightly.

Bautista has been striking out quite a lot lately where does he stand in the MLB for number of strikeouts in a season compared to previous years? It would seem that his strike out frequency has increased significantly over other years.

Anyone have any idea why the start time is changing to 4 pm for Saturdays games. Most people have dinner between 4 and 7pm so is that not an inconvenience for those fans. Or do they want the fans to come out and eat at the concessions at Roger's center? Very difficult to feed 40K fans in 3hrs. TV viewers will need to bring their dinners to the TV set location.

Agreed! The team should completely rebuild around the core of these younger players. No need to keep any of the veterans over 30. Deal them now while they may have some trade value
