it's pricey, but I really like it. I was in Singapore and they have testing. I just told the guy what I like to drink and he brought out some whisky that was in the same kind of taste that I already drink. Glad I didn't check the price before I tasted, but it's all good. very smooth... the 15 is only sold in international duty free shops. I got a second bottle when I was in China so I didn't have to worry about drinking the first one. lol

 

Aberlour is a Speyside, so you can always find similar styles to it. Macallan, Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, etc. are all from the same region.

 

Either way, buying Scotch in Canada blows.

I don't drink whisky to get drunk. it's a sipping drink. That's why I don't mind paying good money to enjoy a good one. If I want to get drunk Vodka, Bacardi or gin are much more effective and less expensive and I don't get the really horrible hangover
