It's not scientific, statistical or even logical, but I know exactly what you mean. Since a lousy offseason in which virtually none of our major needs were addressed (even as EE left), to a s***** spring training without Donaldson, to the worst start in franchise history with mounting injuries this has felt like a flawed abortion of a season from the outset.
