I didn't even notice the ripped knees the first several times I have seen that photo lol.

Batting average doesn't mean a whole lot though. More importantly is that he's still still getting on base at a very good rate, and he's hitting for pretty good power when he puts the ball into play. Combine that with his elite defense and his handling of the pitching staff and Russ has been fantastic for us.
