Laika Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Yikes, Casey Lawrence. Maybe he'll have some rookie magic.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Won't be hard to root for a 29 year old making his first ML start tonight. Let's hope for one of those feel-good stories full of nostalgia.

Hammer Verified Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Maybe Bautista's bat will be awake for this one.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Maybe Bautista's bat will be awake for this one. You didn't see last night's game?
Gary Verified Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 I'll be watching at last the first half of this bad boy!!
Hammer Verified Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 You didn't see last night's game? I did, that's why I hope his bat has woken up with that 3 run dinger in the 13th. He was slumping hard before that.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Barney batting 2nd rofl That's such a disgusting lineup.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Barney batting 2nd rofl No C listed in that lineup. Apparently Salty is starting and batting 8th. That's probably the worst lineup I've seen the Jays field in a long time. The Lansing Lugnuts would give that lineup a good game.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 That's such a disgusting lineup. Wilner missed Martin or Salty, but its still sad to look at...martin's been heating up though. He helps if he's playing.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 It's Salty. That could describe the entire lineup. Guaranteed win game?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Looks like Tulo to the DL. Of all the guys you could send out of course they picked Barnes lmao.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Barney batting 2nd rofl as much as having Barney bat second is gross, it's not like there are many hitter that are doing more so far this year. that just says how bad the jays offense has been this year. Barney is a couple % avg ahead of Smoak with Smoak having a much better SLG. there really aren't a lot of good options for this lineup with the roster they have today
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 That could describe the entire lineup. Guaranteed win game? this kind of lineup won them games we all expected were a sure loss the last couple years. it's entirely gross but on any given day, who knows
TorontonianJD Verified Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Why did they send Barnes down? He is certainly better than Tepera!

I was talking about the lineup in general. We also get Salty who has struck out 10 times in 14 at-bats.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Of all the guys you could send out of course they picked Barnes lmao. No idea what they have against that guy. Does Tepera have options? After pitching 3 innings they should have sent him down. He's not going to be ready to pitch again for at least a couple of games anyway.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 Why did they send Barnes down? He is certainly better than Tepera! And he didn't throw 3 innings last night. Odd move.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 I put 50$ on the Angels tonight. So the Jays will probably win. You can all thank me after the game.
TBJ12 Verified Member Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 He has options. So DFA one of the other POS without options.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 So DFA one of the other POS without options. They both have options. Unless you're talking about Loup.
