Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 1. Sanchez 2. Straily If Straily is in your top 2, you've got to include Shelby Miller too.
King Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 State of the franchise season ticket holder event will not be held this year

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 http://i.imgur.com/4xiMCWo.png lol Mind-bogglingly stupid. Sanchez ahead of Bumgarner, Kluber... and Syndergaard not even on the list! LMAO
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Time for a BJMB list thread? 1. Kershaw 2. Scherzer 3. Syndergaard 4. Sale 5. Arrieta 6. Price 7. Kluber 8. Bumgarner 9. Archer 10. Darvish 1) Kershaw 2) Syndergaard 3) Scherzer 4) Sale 5) Bumgarner 6) Kluber 7) Cueto 8) Price 9) Arrieta 10) Darvish Could also make an argument for Strasburg, Archer, Carrasco, Quintana, Lester. Greinke, Porcello and Sanchez are real stretches.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Sanchez > Syndergaard Props to LTBF
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Dan Plesac is the #1 Jays fanboy on MLB Network, he always says Toronto was his favourite city to play in lol In other news Aaron Sanchez is the cover boy for the Canadian version of the Standard Edition:

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 I'm not a fan of Mike Wilner, though I applaud him for the job he's doing on Twitter right now for #BellLetsTalk Day. He opened up his DM's for people to message him. Very humble of him to listen to others like that.

I'm sure he has went through some issues of his own. He did a lot of advertising with Herbal Magic but gained all the weight back.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 J Force Auditions are this Sunday. Anyone will to Audition with a BJMB tattoo, sign or t-shirt?

I've seen over 6 million raised for awareness. A great use of social media.
King Old-Timey Member Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 J Force Auditions are this Sunday. I heard King is trying out. This is true.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 This is true. Good luck I hope u make it

TheHurl Site Manager Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Osuna was named Mexican 2016 Athlete of the Year. Really odd in an Olympic year (even if they didn't get a gold).

Their Olympic team sucks mostly because they don't give a crap. You gotta think it'd be someone better than Osuna though. Perhaps a Boxer or even better a Soccer player. Who gave out this award?

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Osuna was named Mexican 2016 Athlete of the Year. Really odd in an Olympic year (even if they didn't get a gold). They really don't have any elite soccer players just now. Hernandez fell off the list when United let him go. I'd have thought it would have gone that direction, but baseball is very big in Mexico so it's not a complete shock they took a ball player. congrats to Osuna. I'll bet the media follow him intensely in Mexico. Kind of like how Canadian media fawned over every breath from Steve Nash when he was in his prime.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 With respect to Osuna, I don't think he was even the best Mexican athlete on his own team.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 BP on extending JD... http://toronto.locals.baseballprospectus.com/2017/01/26/its-time-to-talk-extension-with-josh-donaldson/
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 I wouldn't mind signing JD but I would want that opt out clause in there after 2-3 years. Even if he ends up producing like an MVP for the next 3 years I'd want him to opt out.
Governator Community Moderator Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 With respect to Osuna, I don't think he was even the best Mexican athlete on his own team. The one with the broken back was the better athlete?
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 The one with the broken back was the better athlete? He was a better baseball player, statistically at least. I can't say that I know the criteria for this award though.
