Mind-bogglingly stupid. Sanchez ahead of Bumgarner, Kluber... and Syndergaard not even on the list! LMAO

Time for a BJMB list thread?

1. Kershaw

2. Scherzer

3. Syndergaard

4. Sale

5. Arrieta

6. Price

7. Kluber

8. Bumgarner

9. Archer

10. Darvish

1) Kershaw

2) Syndergaard

3) Scherzer

4) Sale

5) Bumgarner

6) Kluber

7) Cueto

8) Price

9) Arrieta

10) Darvish

Could also make an argument for Strasburg, Archer, Carrasco, Quintana, Lester. Greinke, Porcello and Sanchez are real stretches.

Dan Plesac is the #1 Jays fanboy on MLB Network, he always says Toronto was his favourite city to play in lol

In other news Aaron Sanchez is the cover boy for the Canadian version of the Standard Edition:

Nice cover but I want the Griffey one.

I'm not a fan of Mike Wilner, though I applaud him for the job he's doing on Twitter right now for #BellLetsTalk Day. He opened up his DM's for people to message him. Very humble of him to listen to others like that.

Crazy part is he does the opposite on the radio. I'm sure he has went through some issues of his own. He did a lot of advertising with Herbal Magic but gained all the weight back.

Agreed. I even slid into his DM's to thank him for the gesture.

Very proud to be a Canadian today. I've seen over 6 million raised for awareness. A great use of social media.

Osuna was named Mexican 2016 Athlete of the Year. Really odd in an Olympic year (even if they didn't get a gold).

Their Olympic team sucks mostly because they don't give a crap. You gotta think it'd be someone better than Osuna though. Perhaps a Boxer or even better a Soccer player. Who gave out this award?

Looks like an official thing...

They really don't have any elite soccer players just now. Hernandez fell off the list when United let him go. I'd have thought it would have gone that direction, but baseball is very big in Mexico so it's not a complete shock they took a ball player.

congrats to Osuna.

I'll bet the media follow him intensely in Mexico. Kind of like how Canadian media fawned over every breath from Steve Nash when he was in his prime.

I wouldn't mind signing JD but I would want that opt out clause in there after 2-3 years. Even if he ends up producing like an MVP for the next 3 years I'd want him to opt out.

With respect to Osuna, I don't think he was even the best Mexican athlete on his own team.

The one with the broken back was the better athlete?

He was a better baseball player, statistically at least. I can't say that I know the criteria for this award though.

The award clearly isn't based on statistics.
