The most recent incredible WS game I think of atm is 2011 Game 6. Maybe tonight will top it.

 

That was the greatest baseball game ever played.

All I ask for is a close game. A blowout would suck.

 

Yeah that would be so anticlimactic, here's hoping there's intrigue right down to the final pitch.

IMO of course, but I really can't think of anything that supplants that.

 

How about World Series game 4 in 1993.

 

Or if you're more interested in the ultimate pitcher's duel, game 7 of the 1991 World Series. Morris vs. Smoltz, 10 shutout innings from Jack and a walk off hit.
