Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Cleveland is obviously the tougher team to play, no doubt about that. However, f*** Boston. I think pretty much everyone but you has plenty of doubts about that.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Cleveland just so that I don't have to watch the Ortiz fest
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 After thinking about this for a while, I'm pretty indifferent. Boston has the slightly better team, but I think the Jays match up better in Fenway than Progressive.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Whoever wins. Just bring on more Baseball please.
Joshtowers Verified Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 With Cleveland up 2 games I doubt boston makes a comeback so Cleveland it is. Boston knows us much to well be a division rival
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Don't want to play in that green s*** can they call a ballpark.......lets head to Ohio.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 I think pretty much everyone but you has plenty of doubts about that. The facts are on my side, both in the stats and in the playoff performance thusfar. That influences my statement more than any biases you guys may have.
Rusty_Savage Verified Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Hopefully Cleveland finishes it off this evening so they have a long layoff as well
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Shartkins said he wants Cleveland.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Cleveland to avenge the loss to LeBron. Plus, I wouldn't feel like s*** if the Jays lost to the Indians. With Boston, I would.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Cleveland to avenge the loss to LeBron. Plus, I wouldn't feel like s*** if the Jays lost to the Indians. With Boston, I would. What's this losing talk? The only question that should be asked is which team do you want to suffer a loss at the hands of the Blue Jays?
JoeCarter Verified Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 This poll is a de facto IQ test. If you somehow prefer we'd face Boston, you simply must be prioritizing something other than winning, and you should probably just go away forever.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Voted 'anyone' because I like our chances against any team right now, but if I had to choose one of the first two options it would be Cleveland.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 No way Boston wins three in a row against a very good Cleveland pitching staff
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 What's this losing talk? The only question that should be asked is which team do you want to suffer a loss at the hands of the Blue Jays? Then Boston. Beating those guys would be damn good.
Dr Negative Verified Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Boston because I've always wanted to see us play with the Red Sox or Yankees in the playoffs. Winner of the series is likely going to have to play the Cubs at the end so it's not like it's ever going to be easy.
Muck Bartinez Verified Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Cleveland now. If it's Boston, that means they've just come back from down 2-0 to win the series. I wouldn't like the idea of Boston rolling in with a full head of steam.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 I rather have Indians win today so both teams have a layoff
CBlake Verified Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 I only want a four hour drive for next Saturday, so Cleveland is thy choice.
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Wouldn't want to face Boston coming off a 3 game winning streak.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Wouldn't want to face Boston coming off a 3 game winning streak. Both the Indians and the Sox should be saying that about us - except ours is a six game streak.
BlueJaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 I voted for Cleveland because my head says it's the better match up for the Jays. Plus I'm so sick of Boston and hearing about David Ortiz final season.
canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Jays are banged up...rest is good but it's too much. I want Cleveland to win so they also are sitting at home drinking beers
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Anyone considering to go to Cleveland if they advance to the ALCS? Game 1 and 2 would be Friday/Saturday and tickets for the ALCS haven't gone on sale yet to the general public from the looks of it.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Could still buy tickets for Game 5 of the ALDS off the Cleveland Indians site haha.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Wouldn't want to face Boston coming off a 3 game winning streak. As opposed to Cleveland, coming off a 3 game winning streak? lol
JoeCarter Verified Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Added benefit to Indians going up 2-0 is that even if Boston comes back to win, they burn Porcello and Price in games 4/5 on Tues/Wed, meaning we may not see either of them until game 3 of the ALCS, though I have to imagine they'd pitch Porcello on 3 days rest for game 2 on Sat and then have Price on regular rest for game 3 on Monday. I guess ideal scenario is Indians winning in 5, because they'd burn Kluber in 5th game, meaning we wouldn't see him til game 3 of the ALCS. All the same, I'd be happy if Indians would just dispatch the Sox today since I hate the Boston matchup for us.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 I hate the sight of that GreaseBall pitching.
