Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Should have moved Tulo in the offseason. With EE and JB walking after the season, that would have left Martin as the only big contract.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Author Posted May 18, 2016 Not even my GDT can stop this shittyness
TheGrandslamMan Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 You forgot to mention, against the f***ing Rays. I believe they're the lowest scoring team in the league. Well maybe not after these 2 beat downs.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Firesale? Is everyone expendable? Everyone but Sanchez
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Is anyone here crying? I've got tears streaming down my cheeks
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 f***, even Donaldson is struggling.
BlueJays Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 What happened to Donaldson? He's becoming a trash
TheGrandslamMan Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Holy BABIP Batman. I'm not sure why everyone brings this up all of the time? Of course every hit isn't going to be ripped for a line drive or a dinger, a large percentage are gonna be ground balls through the hole and duck snorts. It goes with the territory. It's why being able to strike batters out is so important. I'm not sure of the numbers, but it doesn't seem like Stroman often has guys striking out swinging.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Is anyone here crying? I've got tears streaming down my cheeks lol man up, kid
King Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Is anyone here crying? I've got tears streaming down my cheeks The ride was fun but now it's over. The Curse of Caleb will have us out of the playoffs for the next 20 seasons.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 God damn. Should have given Paredes an AB against Dyson.
King Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Mike Wilner @Wilnerness590 34s35 seconds ago . @lawandchocolate How have you seen a lack of effort? "Looking flat" doesn't count. Impossible not to look flat when not scoring.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Annoying team to watch. Cavs by 20
TheGrandslamMan Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 How much do you think the clean sweep of the front office had to do with the morale of the team going into the season? After all from what I've read they pretty much insulted Bautista and Encarnacion with their contract offers... Not good to have the 2 start players feeling slighted. I'd think there would have had to be a feeling after the additions made last year of "wow AA really has our backs". Having a new front office coming in and doing things their way could turn a lot of players off and ruin some of the morale.
nextyear Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 I wonder how much Bautista can demand on the free agent market if he has a mediocre season and the Blue Jays finish last? All the games where Bautista and Encarnacion were swinging for the fences and individual stats might not work out so well for them.
BlueJays Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 So, Gibbons might be canned in a week or so if this keeps up. Hopefully they keep on losing.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Another stellar night for Toronto sports.

Edwin on the other hand might be looking at accepting the QO if he keeps hitting like this.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Another stellar night for Toronto sports. Lol...you didn't actually think the Raptor road was going to continue past this series did you?

The spotlight will be on him if he gets traded and tears it up with his new team into the playoffs.

Was hoping they wouldn't get totally blown out. Still doesn't change the fact that it's a terrible night for Toronto sports, regardless of what I thought or didn't think.
