Would have preferred Liriano but fine with Stroman pitching a big game. He was fine his last time out against the O's. Gibbons pushed him to long his line looks worse than it should have been. Plus we had zero offence in that game.

And who cares if he pitched out of the bullpen? He had one dud game and one good one. And Stroman has pitched out of the bullpen before too.

 

Being with the team the whole year shouldn't matter that much that it overrides the previous two points

That's a terrible explanation. However, 90% of the fan base won't even notice how empty those statements are.

I think he's saying Liriano is a better option to come in from the BP to piggy back Stroman if they decide to do that.

It's not even Texas fault, they're getting shafted because of us. US gets the TV priority so they shaft the Canadian team

Texas will always be behind Boston/Cubs/Dodgers in terms of attractiveness for the TV viewers. If there is a game 4 then Texas will be the first game on Monday too, if it is against us it won't matter to us as its Thanksgiving.

 

Karma for having a POS skipper like Bannister IMO

Karma??? We're getting shafted too lol. Sucks a lot for me because I have to go to a lab at 7 tomorrow and get a project regraded so I might miss a chunk of that game too fml

Blame the Jays for not winning the division then it's hardly being shafted into the wildcard game.

 

The Friday ALDS game is in a series that may not even feature us. Do you really think they did this because it may feature a Canadian team. Newsflash every decision is not made because the Blue Jays play in Canada - If Boston had been the No.1 seed, I guarantee we wouldn't have been scheduled as the lunchtime game.

Boston-Cleveland is the better matchup for ratings than Texas-Toronto/Baltimore, hands down. The David Ortiz storyline, and the Terry Francona storyline are enough. The NL matchups are also better for ratings regardless of whether the Mets or a Giants make it, so naturally the Texas series will get the worst slot.

You must be a new jays fan, or have short memory or something. What are you talking about? Who won the division last year? We did. Start times?

 

Game 1 - Thursday October 8, 2015 3:37 p.m

Game 2 - Friday October 9, 2015 12:45 p.m

 

As for your other comment -- If we don't advance, Baltimore advance and they're a small market team. So whoever wins the AL WC you have either a Canadian team or a small-market team. No **american** big market teams. So yes it absolutely has to do with the Jays being Canadian. FOH you're telling me if the Yankees won a WC spot they'll play them at 1pm??

Is this crew any good? I haven't really heard any of them do a live game.

 

Better than Reynolds. I love Ernie for the NBA but its weird to hear him do MLB. Luckily I'll be at the game so I won't have to hear it.

Ernie Johnson usually does NBA, but he's pretty good.

 

As for the sidekicks, anything is better than Harold Reynolds.

 

Does he even do play by play for NBA? I thought he just hosted Inside the NBA.
