BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Floyd has been excellent but man....he hangy they bangy. 16% HR to FB. His stuff is filthy but when he leaves the hook up its getting nailed. He was trying to get it down and in under Papi's bat yesterday, but got it up. Hentgen was saying on BC that Floyd needs to stay down and away more and get hurt less out there. The HR/FB should normalize. I love his swing and miss stuff and have confidence in him.
Rovert Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Bautista is leading off. Devon Travis is in the 5th spot in the batting order, taking Saunders spot for the day. I love Dickey starts , make sure to take out some guys that are hitting well when they will need 5 runs or more . http://i65.tinypic.com/f3evbs.jpg
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Lol @ Smoak hitting clean up. I'd rather have Barney hitting clean up vs Price than a RHH Smoak.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Smoak should never be hitting ahead of Travis under any circumstance.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Top five today should be.. Bautista Donaldson Travis EE Smoak

Let him rest. He's pitched like three-four starts worth of innings over 52 games. If he's gassed... well, that's pretty concerning. I'd say he just had a rough outing.

I'd say he just had a rough outing. warming up every other day is a lot different than pitching every 5th day and then doing side work. He's also on the steep decline part of his career. He looked completely gassed today. He bounced almost every pitch.

Girodo down, Antolin or Tepera up Pretty depressing that's our only options at this point. Floyd our multi inning reliever and our Rule 5 pick have emerged as our setup man lol. Floyd is really good or really s***. Biagini has been fantastic in his small sample.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Girodo down, Antolin or Tepera up Hopefully Antolin. I hope to never see Tepera again.

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Is that a serious tweet lol? He seems like he'd be a clubhouse clown and all around entertaining dude.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Is that a serious tweet lol? He seems like he'd be a clubhouse clown and all around entertaining dude. turns out she was just listening to Blair talk about Gibby and Biagini and he suggested that. Maybe it was in jest? Gibby says a lot of things jokingly
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Twitter broken telephone. Beautiful journalism. Why would Gibby tell us this? If there were disagreements in the clubhouse, he wouldn't share them with anyone. We still don't even officially know what happened to Valencia. Blair seems to just say stuff and hope it sticks.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Is that a serious tweet lol? It's tweeted with a question mark meaning she's just as skeptical of this as anyone else would be.
intrigid Verified Member Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 I mean I could definitely see Biagini being bullied in little league or the minors, hell he probably was, but here? Where he's helping the team with postseason aspirations? I doubt it. Maybe teammates are trying to joke around with him and he's extremely sensitive. That's possible.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 He does seem like the kind of guy who would draw a face on his fingers and talk to other players with his hand. Maybe he brought it on himself. It's not really framed as journalism anyway, just HERPDERP posting something that someone might have heard on the radio from a third party. Nothing happened to Valencia, I don't know what the fascination there is. I'd say people who write Jays articles who tweet clubhouse rumours is some brand of journalism. They know they have an audience. And the Valencia thing was a comparison. If we don't know the Valencia story (if there is one), why would Gibby spill the beans on this one?
