Why the hell would Gibbons do this? I get that Goins can't just sit there indefinitely; he needs to play from time to time. But, Travis is this team's starting 2B, and it's awfully weird to give him a day off after only 5 games back. Let him play, and sit Barney for a game. Maybe Goins is 4/11, and Barney is batting .500 vs Nova or something dumb like that.

But, Travis is this team's starting 2B, and it's awfully weird to give him a day off after only 5 games back. Let him play, and sit Barney for a game. Maybe Goins is 4/11, and Barney is batting .500 vs Nova or something dumb like that.

 

The more important thing here these are division games and we should be fielding the best team possible. Goins should only be playing if there is a blowout or injury..
