Oh we're definitely going to watch the end of the game. Sounds like by that time, we should expect to stand in line for about an hour to get onto the field. We're a good 2 hours from home and it will be a long day for us, so it sounds like this isn't going to happen.

Yes, they have to run on their own. He'll probably just get so swept up in excitement that he'll probably take off without realizing it.

Does Stroman get shelled today? I wish I didn't have to question myself on that, but it speaks to the inconsistency of his game plan this season. If he pitches like he did vs the Twins he may get BABIP'd for 5+ runs.

Curious to see how Barney handles shortstop. Because he's played so much 2B, a lot people have expressed doubts about him there but he's a good enough fielder to think the transition won't be that big of a deal.

I've really enjoyed having Barney on the team. He'll be a perfect utility player once Tulo is back with Travis at 2B. Can cover 3B, SS, and 2B, and puts up a good AB (even if he can't really hit a lick).

So far so good. I mean he is a natural SS. Goins can replace him for defense if needed until Tulo is back. Barney has been an absolute pest so as long he makes the plays gotta keep him in the lineup.

And, he's actually been hitting REALLY well this year. Obviously limited exposure, and I don't see it continuing, but crap, he's done everything you want out of a 4th OF this year.
