baseballsss Verified Member Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Oh we're definitely going to watch the end of the game. Sounds like by that time, we should expect to stand in line for about an hour to get onto the field. We're a good 2 hours from home and it will be a long day for us, so it sounds like this isn't going to happen. Just do it! it's something he'll remember forever. You never know if you'll have this chance again!

CHRIS Verified Member Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 I assume the kids have to run on their own? My son's 5 and can run the bases on his own, but might be a tad shy about being alone in a massive lineup and such. Yes, they have to run on their own. He'll probably just get so swept up in excitement that he'll probably take off without realizing it.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Jays sign C Robert Lavarnway to minor league deal Ryan* Edit: Man, wikipedia updates s*** quickly, even for minor things like this dude.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 I hope Tulo wasn't playing injured last night? That said, it's tough to tell because he's looked that s*** most of this season, up until this recent hot streak.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Does Stroman get shelled today? I wish I didn't have to question myself on that, but it speaks to the inconsistency of his game plan this season. If he pitches like he did vs the Twins he may get BABIP'd for 5+ runs.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Tulo getting an MRI on his quad...he reaggravated it last night

Tulo getting an MRI on his quad...he reaggravated it last night It's official, Tulo going to the DL, Loup activated. Barney is your starting shortstop.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Hazel really worked out Troy with that DP last night
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 It's official, Tulo going to the DL, Loup activated. Barney is your starting shortstop. Glad to see it's Barney and not Goins.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 It's official, Tulo going to the DL, Loup activated. Barney is your starting shortstop. As long as its not Goins. I'm quite shocked Gibbons isn't playing Goins. Finally in the dog house where he belongs.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 As long as its not Goins. I'm quite shocked Gibbons isn't playing Goins. Finally in the dog house where he belongs. Curious to see how Barney handles shortstop. Because he's played so much 2B, a lot people have expressed doubts about him there but he's a good enough fielder to think the transition won't be that big of a deal.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 I've really enjoyed having Barney on the team. He'll be a perfect utility player once Tulo is back with Travis at 2B. Can cover 3B, SS, and 2B, and puts up a good AB (even if he can't really hit a lick).
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Carrerra has performed better than expected in the main pinch runner role.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 When Martin goes so do the bluejays
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 It's no coincidence that the man has been to the playoffs 8 out of 10 years with 4 different teams

I mean he is a natural SS. Goins can replace him for defense if needed until Tulo is back. Barney has been an absolute pest so as long he makes the plays gotta keep him in the lineup.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Carrerra has performed better than expected in the main pinch runner role. Pretty decent job as the 4th OF as well. Hasn't been dropping balls like last year.

And, he's actually been hitting REALLY well this year. Obviously limited exposure, and I don't see it continuing, but crap, he's done everything you want out of a 4th OF this year.
