Players will say you definitely get more sore playing on turf which I would agree with. Whether that makes a difference injury or performance wise who knows.

 

I'd find it interesting what players home to first times are on grass compared to turf as usually turf makes people faster.

 

Kevin Pillar has discussed a unique exercise regiment that the team uses, which eliminates most of his problems with the turf. I'm not sure what it is, but it's possible that this type of training could eliminate any structural damage that results from turf.

I don't know if it would go against the rules but I think anyone who has worked on concrete floors like at a supermarket or department store knows how much of a difference a nice pair of cushioned but supportive shoes makes. I know it's not the same thing but that's essentially what turf is. It's a carpet on top of concrete. Perhaps this could help ease our players joints.

Fair enough, I honestly didn't know. Being famous does funny things to people. Doing drugs, outrageous statements and clothes, cosmetic surgeries. I'm never sure if these are their real personalities or all a big PR stunt.

Maybe he felt sore because he played too many back to back games, or made an unusual number of tough plays. Or maybe he felt sore because he knew was going to play on turf, and so he convinced himself mentally that it was going to be harder on his body. I don't understand why they can't put a layer of padding under the turf if it really is so painful to dive on.
