"Je peux juste dire que j'ai juste des bons mots à dire à tout le monde ici. J'ai toute la confiance en Mark Shapiro, Rogers et tous les employés."

It's actually kind of hilarious how identical to the English answers, the French ones are.

I'm excited for this off season. Who else? :D:). I'm hoping for some Dan Duquette rumours. Not that I want him, I don't. I just enjoy seeing Baltimore fans piss themselves.

I think Orioles fans want Duquette out at this point. Showalter would be the funnier hire. He can replace Cito.

I didn't think what just happened was possible. They basically fired the most admired man in Toronto right now, the reason they had all of this success. Rogers has consistently f***ed up year after year, so you can't put anything past them, including giving a mandate to Shapiro to rebuild.

AA is nowhere on the level of Jose Bautista, Josh Donaldson, or Marcus Stroman.

Pretty sure by saying his phone blew up, he actually means he smashed the s*** out of it after a conversation we might never fully know about.

Maybe AA pulled off a Pat Gillick exit. Knew a rebuild was imminent (after 2016) and left before he had to clean up the mess.

noun: windbag; plural noun: windbags

a person who talks at length but says little of value.

With more answers to the same questions it's starting to seem as though it was a power struggle

John Lott asking two perfect, pro reporter questions. AA has trouble dodging them but still manages to - refuses to "get into specifics" and says simply that based on "general discussions" the fit wasn't right. Says that he never asked for anything and was never told that anything would be different.
