i took heat suggesting we may have to non tender Revere if we couldn't trade him. One guy put me on ignore. LOL That of course was before we filled our rotation with 4s and 5s. Now that we are planning to win by scoring 6 runs a game I think we need to keep Revere. Saunders and Thole are obvious

I don't follow the logic. Revere projects as a below average MLB hitter.

I think most are saying to Non Tender Saunders and sign him back cheap like $1m and change. Plus I think I remember reading that it was a partial removal of his meniscus if I'm correct. That surgery has come a long way and athletes can still perform after it. It would almost definitely shorten the span of his playing career but not necessarily immediately.
