o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Post horseshit? I just passed on a tweet that was out there. I don't know how reliable it is as it is a rumor and not a done deal. Just like a lot of what is out there.

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Jonathan Broxton fits the description and the price tag should be much more palatable than comparable options. I don't necessarily think he should be our closer, but the velocity and strong peripherals are appealing.

Maahfaace Verified Member Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Does anyone think Price would sign on an affordable deal if we add a guarantee of no Barry Davis interviews in the contract? amend that to "firing Barry Davis" and maybe

bendera3 Verified Member Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I'd take Worley on a minor league deal. I'd probably be willing to give him a MLB deal if he would be okay with a split role.

BTS Community Moderator Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 Mejia would be interesting too. He's out for a year, but would be under team control for 3-4 years after.

One guy put me on ignore. LOL That of course was before we filled our rotation with 4s and 5s. Now that we are planning to win by scoring 6 runs a game I think we need to keep Revere. Saunders and Thole are obvious

Saunders and Thole are obvious I don't follow the logic. Revere projects as a below average MLB hitter.

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I can't believer people are willing to give away a .300 hitter with speed for 6 Mil yet keep a guy who is missing an important part of his knee for 3 million

Plus I think I remember reading that it was a partial removal of his meniscus if I'm correct. That surgery has come a long way and athletes can still perform after it. It would almost definitely shorten the span of his playing career but not necessarily immediately. Edited November 30, 2015 by DerangedIdoit

We like you, but not for your current price tag.

O'Day would be a wet dream. We can also guarantee him the closer role, which a lot of his other suitors can't. Plz make happen.

I hope that doesn't mean they are done with Happ and that's our starters
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I hope that doesn't mean they are done with Happ and that's our starters I think they need more innings. Someone like the Indians' Josh Tomlin would be a fit.
