It's easy to forget about Pendleton. He really does change the entire dynamic of the team.

Hyun-Soo Kim ? Only 27 and plays LF, 1st base and a Left handed bat. Worth taking if your the Jays? How much do you see him going for?

Hard to know what to make of those guys, especially with very limited stats. The walk ability (especially last year) is pretty nice though.

Wow. Actually listened to it live and its worse than I thought. Not only did the guy say he heard Tulo would move to 1st base but then Jeff Blair said "I'm not sure Tulo has enough power to play 1st Base".

5 Min earlier Michael Grange said he wouldn't sign Donaldson to 6/130 either lmao.

Shocking that Jeff Blair said something completely moronic...

And Michael Grange was in favor of the Ross extension...

Thx for updating the budget post BTS. So assuming the 140 mil budget number we have 16.2 to spend with one more SP needed and a couple of relief arms which definitely isn't enough. Only way i see to free up money is to move Revere. Trading Revere and cash for a relief arm seems the best scenario we can hope for because he does not get us as good a starter as we need. That would leave us with 18 to 20 mil to spend.

We should sign John Axford

He signed for like 2.5m last year, I recall we were one of the 3 teams vying for him last year

With the way we've treated Delabar, I just don't know if the team would go after a guy with yet another season of a 5+ BB/9.

How else are you supposed to treat guys who can't throw strikes?

Can anyone explain that expression...."Balls to the wall". Slang for glory hole?

Everything is slang for the glory hole

Well it kind of does make sense because we have a giant hole at 1B whereas Goins can slide into Tulo's spot at SS and Pendleton can fill Travis' spot at 2B quite nicely.

It makes no sense. You already have 2 first basemen that are adequate and one can hit and you waste Tulo's arm and range by this move. Also you are putting Pendleton in and he will be fighting Goins for the number nine spot hitting? Leave the infield the way it was in Oct. Start looking for SP and don't give away any more of the bull pen, just look at the spring of 2015 and what a mess this team was in pitching wise. We need 2 more reliable starters or we will repeat 2015 start and let Hutch fight it out for a role.........get Chapman and we need one less SP and then fill that with Carrasco............

I'd rather take my chances with Michael Saunders then Jay Bruce. I think Bruce's BABIP rebounds next season though.

.251 BABIP with 35% hard contact and only 5% IFFB rate seems like s***** luck.

He's had several seasons with it being really low like that. Really strange numbers overall. The main problem is how much he sucks defensively.

Going forward I think we're short one SP, 2 RPs, backup catcher and maybe a lefty bench bat. I'd move Revere for salary relief in exchange for a reliever. If he's a lefty re-sign Lowe. If he's a righty sign Tony Sipp (4-5M AAV). So let's call it $1M better with Revere gone. That leaves us with roughly $18M or so we assume. Sign Shark/Gallardo/Chen/Kuma (14-16AAV).

SP: Stroman, Shark, Estrada, Dickey, Chavez/Hutch/Sanchez

RP: Schultz, TRADE(Revere), Sipp, Sanchez, Cecil, Osuna

Think that's solid. Would rather a lefty in the rotation, would also want an upgrade at catcher. Just hard to fix the backup C with the Dickman and not sure what trade would work for a guy like Carrasco or Ross.

Fine with Pompey/Saunders in left field, but could definitely use another bench piece for depth.

Wow. Josh Donaldson on fan590 right now just said he would be happy to finish his career in Toronto. Normally you don't hear players be this upfront about it as he was even the one to bring it up. Said he expects his agent to talk with Lacava fairly soon but that he isn't too involved in the actual negotiations.

Get something done Shapiro and LaCava!!
