They implied Carrasco is a middle of the pack starter. I'm guessing they were looking at his ERA and W/L record.

I actually think Tim & Sid are fairly smart, especially Tim. They play up the whole jackass routine, but for the most part there is intellect behind it.

Yeah Tim is great. I also really enjoy his PxP for CIS football. Sid doesn't seem like the smartest but he probably just plays that card for ratings.

My guess is the Jays have taken a calculated risk, that guys like Perdomo and Smith will not be taken. I think you will also see them use the roster space they have to claim a few DFA's that they think could be valuable to them... AJ Griffin, Wilin Rosario, or some other DFA's perhaps.
