Hmm... I actually find it pretty entertaining watching them to take it to the Habs much of the 2nd until they got the SH; Bernie needs to have that.

 

Compare to last year, no Carlyle/Horachek/Kessel plus needing to detox from last night, not a bad way to spend some time before dinner ... up 'til the last several minutes of the 2nd there

Feel same. Yes we had a great season ya da ya da. Yes, we didn't hit well with RISP but Jose gave us enough.

 

The "HR" call and the 9th inning expanded zone stick in my craw because they had a dramatic impact on the outcome...and they shouldn't have.

Because Smoak wasn’t very good in 2015 and we didn’t have great backup OF options…

In that specific game 6, Revere/Navarro were actually good choices to cash that runner on 3rd. Navarro was one of the best guys and getting the sac fly and Revere was high contact. Smoak was more swing and miss.

 

In those situations it made sense to not use Smoak

Man, the 2015 Postseason seems like such a long time ago.

 

Also, very sad about Yordano Ventura. Tragic to see a lot of young pitchers die in accidents like him and Jose Fernandez all within that span of a couple of months.
