TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Did this actually happen or it is hoax going off. never mind...it obviously happened. Way to go Fox truck guys
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 If both Sanchez and Davis are out of the game then this is a win-win situation for the Blue Jays lol. Sanchez is coming back in
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Did this actually happen or it is hoax going off. It happened
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 HHAHA Joe buck is reading this forum hahahah
827 Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Paramount that we win this asap, cant use up Stroman
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 While we're waiting, let's give credit to where credit is due. Price pitched very well and realistically should've only allowed 1 run had it not been for a terrible interference homer and Sanchez's meatballs. You're forgetting 2 fine defensive plays in the top of the 7th and Gibbons for thinking Sanchez is good.
nmrch Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Jeez bringing in Stroman would be a terrible mistake when you have Lowe and Hendriks available. And telling your plan to National TV is a terrible idea. What the f*** is wrong with him, its almost like he goes out of his way to complicate things and f*** things up. Hendricks and Lowe are good relievers, they're probably better pitchers coming out of the pen than Stroman
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 So if Stroman goes I guess that means were starting Estrada in game 7
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Look at Fox scrambling an excuse LOL like they care. Canadians are too stupid to catch baseballs or mistakes.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Maybe he's feeding the other team. Why else would he lay out his plans to the other team?
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Hendriks is the obvious choice here. As good as anyone in the 'pen and can go as long as needed. Also, since the Jays don't have the lead, this is a situation where Gibbons allows himself to use him.
deadlee Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 i was loving that Gibbons interview... he's just a simple likeable hick... but why would he give up the fact that he might put Stroman in.. c'mon guy...dont' have to volunteer the entire game plan.. a "we'll see where we get to after this" would suffice...
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 So if Stroman goes I guess that means were starting Estrada in game 7 Wouldn't be short rest?
comeon sense Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Joe buck saving FOX` rep.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Time for another ep of "Everybody Loves Raymond"
Floortom Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 So if Stroman goes I guess that means were starting Estrada in game 7 Wouldnt it be Dickey? I cant see Estrada going on 2 days rest
fireballW Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 knock on wood but if (big if) Sanchez doesn't eff up, do we actually have the bullpen advantage?
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Joe buck saving FOX` rep. Joe Buck ruins FOX's rep a little bit more every time he opens his mouth.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 like they care. Canadians are too stupid to catch baseballs or mistakes. Fox: "Obviously we "loaded" that screen before the game 7 one by mistake. Duh."
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Hendriks is the obvious choice here. As good as anyone in the 'pen and can go as long as needed. Also, since the Jays don't have the lead, this is a situation where Gibbons allows himself to use him. Hendriks pitched 4 innings on Tuesday...tough to ask him to come out.

admin Site Manager Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Wouldnt it be Dickey? I cant see Estrada going on 2 days rest Dickey will be lucky to see the field in the World Series. They could very well go Estrada on two days rest.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Wouldn't be short rest? Yes but how could you go with anyone else. Estrada would probably pitch in that game no matter what.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Hendriks is the obvious choice here. As good as anyone in the 'pen and can go as long as needed. Gibbons hates Hendriks.... no idea why, remember most of us thought he might be dead a couple days ago
827 Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 I'm pretty confident that Gibby would go to Dickey in game 7 if we use up stroman and win tonight.
Travis_Snider Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 So if Stroman goes I guess that means were starting Estrada in game 7 He said in pre game he would be 100% ready tomorrow if needed
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Although Stroman gets a ton of Grounballs so KC likely wouldn't win the game with 1 swing of the bat unlike Hendriks who seems to give up some Homeruns with the fastball. You would be kind of screwed for tomorrow though..
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Dickey will be lucky to see the field in the World Series. They could very well go Estrada on two days rest. lmao but yes, he's been effective and efficient. He can probably go into the 5th before turning it over to Henriks, Lowe, Sanchez, Osuna
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Gibbons is dumber than he looks, and he looks DUMN. If Rosenthal asked for his banking info on air, he'd spit it out.
