    Taking into consideration the manager position in baseball is a bit of a grey area in relation to W's & L's. Being that this is the first time around for many of the players, i dont think gibbons is doing enough to convey a sense of urgency on the team. And that's why you only see their best effort in do or die games. Since the final week of the season, there has been a lackadaisical aura about this team. Keeping it loose is one thing, during the season. But there comes a time where a coach has to motivate his players. And i dont see Gibbons giving the Any Given Sunday speach.

    Hello. Great thread, so much meat on the bone. I want a lumberjack match with Mike Wilner. I really want to get to know wilner's weaknesses in a ring. Jeff Blair makes my drive to work hateful. Bob**** Mccowan, counting the days until i hang a left into oncoming. Steven Brunt is a beacon of light in Canadian sports media. I miss Sportsline with Hebscher and Tatti, yes guy.
