Governator Community Moderator Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Just need to win friday, not worry about saturday Exactly, one game at a time. 7 doesn't exist at the moment, just focus on playing good baseball.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 So now we have 4 deep to go to: Hendriks, Lowe, Sanchez, Osuna for Friday.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 These last few games Tulo has looked arguably better than he has at any point as a Jay. It's so nice to see Troy Tulof***ingwitzki looking like himself for once. Tulo drinks Rum !!!!

EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 I really wish that we make a definitive decision on the Loup issue soon. Put him on bereavement or whatever list that is applicable to his situation right now and have another arm available... Buehrle, Francis, Hutch, I don't care. But we can't afford to be left hanging on this issue any longer (with much due respect to Loup & his family).
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 All we wanted was a chance. With Price and Stroman we have a chance. They are our guys. If we lose with them on the mound I will be content. Not happy but knowing we lost with our best guys means Kansas City deserved it. If any team can do it, its us. I feel really good heading into Friday.

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 I dont think you can do that in the playoffs Alex made it quite clear in an interview that MLB is aware of the situation and we can drop Loup for another player, but we'll lose him for the remainder of the playoffs.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 I dont think you can do that in the playoffs To be honest I am not sure whether there is an option for bereavement list in the playoffs but if there indeed isn't, then I gotta say that really doesn't make sense to me and MLB needs to revisit that rule.
jacobdr4 Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 I dont think you can do that in the playoffs Yeah i read an article saying there is no bereavement list in the playoffs. The jays dont want to put him on the dl though because then he would be gone for the whole playoffs.
canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 I dont think you can do that in the playoffs AA was on the fan 590 and said it was possible due to Loup's family matter also the MLB is aware of it. Not sure why nothing has happened though
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 I dont think you can do that in the playoffs Yes there is no postseason bereavement list. Jays tried petioning to the league to let them put Loup on the DL knowing he'd even miss the World Series. http://mlb.nbcsports.com/2015/10/21/the-blue-jays-are-playing-a-man-down-due-to-a-dumb-roster-rule/

Not sure why nothing has happened though Well if he can't fly to Kansas City it better happen. With so much time away from the team he can't be sharp or mentally prepared. He was not good in his only appearance in this series.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Ambidextrous pitcher Venditte call up?
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 what eligible lefty do they have in the system? Jeff Francis, Mark Buehrle. As much as Francis is a junkballer now apparently his career lefty splits are passable, so I still don't get the Tepera choice if he wasn't going to be used vs. lefties anyway.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Ambidextrous pitcher Venditte call up? Not eligible, meat.
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 what eligible lefty do they have in the system? If Delabar is on the secondary list he should be here. He gets lefties out better than any righty we have and a better relief option than Buehrle.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Ambidextrous pitcher Venditte call up? Would be nice with his lefty numbers but had to be on the 40 as of September 1st.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Jeff Francis, Mark Buehrle. MB is done and Francis sux moose dk.... they may be eligible but not going to help the team. NEXT?
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 It's so nice to see Troy Tulof***ingwitzki looking like himself for once. Considering that he's going to be around for 5 not at all cheap years, it certainly is pretty nice. I mean don't get me wrong, I'd be happy with him for the defensive upgrade alone but having the real Tulof***ingwitzki is immensely better.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 MB is done and Francis sux moose dk.... they may be eligible but not going to help the team. NEXT? Its really Hutch, Delabar, or Schultz.

He gets lefties out better than any righty we have and a better relief option than Buehrle. Delabar would be the right choice. He's a strikeout pitcher too which can come in handy with runners on base and less than two outs.
candymartinez Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 If it means he's gone for the WS so be it. It's sucks but they have it figure this out.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Its really Hutch, Delabar, or Schultz. hard not to laugh... and cry at the same time.
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Its really Hutch, Delabar, or Schultz. Delabar by a mile. He can be used as a reverse split lefty specialist as long as there is an open bag or two lol
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Its really Hutch, Delabar, or Schultz. Yep.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Would be nice with his lefty numbers but had to be on the 40 as of September 1st. I don't think so, not if they put him(Loup) on the DL.
