Cookie Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Anyone who votes no is trolling. Nobody can be that stupid. Or maybe accidentally hit no on their phone. Whoops. FTR I think he was out regardless of my tipsy phone voting.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 You'd sooner have 0 for 6 Price? If by a miracle he gets another chance, you'd have to think he would redeem himself. Hard to believe a pitcher of his caliber would just keep endlessly losing.
polar bear Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 He's better than Kevin swing at everything Pillar Ffs leave Kevin alone,if you want to blame anyone, look no further than that selfish prick Bautista, and the waste of time at the plate Tulofeckenwitzki.
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Big toe area of his right foot is clearly touching the bag. It was the right call. We should be wondering why the bats are silent and the D is playing terrified out there. At least this team hasn't gone full on Toronto Raptors where we are actually spooked by our own home playoff crowd and end up playing badly.
polar bear Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 You bet I do I shake my head.
Pulk_Pull Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Keep trying to blame Gibbons but putting up 8 hits for this offence over 14 innings is where the blame should start. If we going to throw some blame on anyone, it's the batters, and a really shaky 1st inning defensively. Tulo and Smoak have been black holes, Goins has regressed to expectations, and Donaldson/Bautista/EE accounted for 18 AB today and had 2 hits and 2 walks (2/16 with 2 BB). This team averaged 5.5 runs a game throughout the season and has put up 7 in two and a half games.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Price on 3 is better than Dickey every day of the week and absolutely with the season in the balance. same goes for game 5, if they get there it has to be Stroman. At this point I don't give a f*** who's pitching, Dickey is very capable of winning games also, whoever it is I will support my Jays all the way.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I am so f***ing livid. What is not conclusive, is the shadow of the foot that obscures the view of the corner of the base. You cannot tell if the bottom of the shoe is still touching the very corner of the base because of that shadow, and a 2 dimensional view that offers no depth. Anyone who thinks this foot is definitively off of the bag without the benefit of a 3 dimensinal frame by frame is a whiny homer. But it would have been interesting to see if the call on the field was out instead of safe and see how that appeal went.
43211234 Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 These guys need to check their egos. Jose and Edwin consistently have massive shifts on them to their pull side but never attempt to push the ball the other way. Just huge uppercut swings. Obviously they've built their careers on being power hitters but sometimes the situation calls for mixing it up. Did they need to check their egos in the regular season when they were studs with that approach?

I'll take Dickey, never been totally sold on Price.Hope to feck wer'e not trying to sign him long term. Stroman is going to be our stud for years to come.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 If they win game 3, I think you have to send out Price on 3 days rest. Without a doubt. What a draining game. Met G-Snarls and his son in person which was fun.
Pulk_Pull Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 There's no "I don't know" option. Sucks the way it fell though.

Our big 3 (sans JD dinger) had a bad day at a very inopportune time. I wouldn't want them to change their approach now.
Park Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 What an embarrassment. 22 years for this. 162 game season for this. To think I almost went to this game too.
Park Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Bautista pretty much set the tone for the game when he failed to come up with that deep fly ball. Sorry, but that's a play any normal outfielder should make.
Pulk_Pull Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 What an embarrassment. 22 years for this. 162 game season for this. To think I almost went to this game too. To be fair, the game was a ton of fun. The outcome sucked but that doesn't take away the fact it was an exciting game. The unpredictability of the ump at home really added to the atmosphere.

Mambo123 Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 The game was rigged because MLB sees the jays as less profitable and will bring in less viewers with the American audience.

The ump was actually one of the best I've seen - really good strike-zone recognition, our players were acting like whiny bitches.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Donaldson Bautista Encarnacion

glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 That whole 1st inning cost the team the game. Martin's throw in particular was inexcusable. Very winnable game, but they couldn't make the plays early. Otherwise, Stroman probably breezes through that game.

Bautista and Donaldson already homered in this series, and they both almost missed homering again today... Edwin just missed one too. Goodgodyourdumn
