reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Why? Navarro sucks at hitting. He's better than Kevin swing at everything Pillar
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Yeah, I was on it but then RJF made it. Ban RJF
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Drunk, FTW This is helping me too
Sorrow Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I'm looking forward to seeing the definitive replay result for that play at 2nd.
Statman Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 And everyone saying it was a big "mismatch". Baseball playoffs are crapshoots. Rangers had momentum going into this series. That matters the most in the postseason.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Sorry to all the superstitious retards in this thread haha. It was 2 hours before game time and nobody made a GDT thread yet. Clearly if King would have been on it earlier we would have won so maybe banning King for the 25th time is the smart move.
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 It feels like the entire organisation is learning how to play in the post season for the first time, and I guess they are. Hopefully, no matter what happens, they learn from all of this. I hope Shapiro fires Gibby and brings in a well respected, proven coach who handles a pitching staff better.
Praxis Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I can't drink enough to stop the drum beat in my head that's going "we didn't need to play Texas...we didn't need to play Texas." God help me, I need some hard liquor tonight. Beer just isn't going to cut it.

The reason the team lost is no one jacked the GDT thread before noon. Tomorrow.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 We won last time in Texas http://i.imgur.com/PTG85TT.gif
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I am so sick of Odor and DeSheilds.. what pests they've been to us! And Cecil's calf tear.. guess that means Tepera's joining the team on Sunday.

nmrch Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Rangers had momentum going into this series. That matters the most in the postseason. No it doesn't. Its just the nature of Baseball, underdogs tend to be slight underdogs. The nature of the game makes it very possible for inferior teams to get the best of better teams.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Nothing anyone on this board did cost this team the game... lol ya. It's fun to joke about though to ease the pain
nmrch Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 If on average you think the remaining three games are tossups, the Jays chance of winning the series is 12.5%. If you think they're 55% favorites(which is fairly generous with 2 games on teh road) then the odds go up to ~17% Hopefully Estrada pulls it out on Saturday and we go with Price on 3 days rest and hope he has one of those magical games.

Ask the Royals, who beat the heavily favored Angels last season, or the Giants, who did the same vs. the Nationals.
Soft Hands Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 lol stroman big pimpin with the burgundy jacket and black fedora
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Time for your deletion. I'd rather just get banned first. Will happen around 2AM. Stay tuned.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Wow Pillar is pissed at the officiating
Treeplant Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Not the end, if any team in these playoffs can come back from 2 down it's the Jays.

But if you're gonna be a **** about it then maybe a banning is in order.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Can't hit to save their lives. 2 in the last 9 innings of the game. Just big hack after big hack. Rough Stench was out at 2nd, it was blatantly clear. That ump needed a few foul balls, maybe even a bat off the head. Fking the Jays all game with the strikezone. Blue Jays didn't show up, Rangers did, now there's no room for error. Fk MLB, fk umps, fk Hawkins. Good job Stroman.

GenXJays Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 We win with Estrada next game then we have Price and Stroman for game 4 and 5. WE GOT THIS
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 We win with Estrada next game then we have Price and Stroman for game 4 and 5. WE GOT THIS I will remain optimistic until our last breath. I didn't wait 22 years only to pout and believe there's no hope. There's always hope.
