I assume you drive, we can't have people on the roads driving with poor vision like yours. Just some helpful advice.

Just some helpful advice. They showed pitch tracker after every disputed 3rd strike, the only one he missed was to Tulo and it was too close to take anyway. Dumndumn.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 The thing im seeing the curve of his foot, it doesn't match up with the bag?
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 What an embarrassment. 22 years for this. 162 game season for this. To think I almost went to this game too. New fan? Where were you all season?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Hello Mods Please start the offseason discussion thread
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 suck balls New fan? Where were you all season? He is the guy who called in on the fan this morning and asked why we didn't pitch Marcus Strawham in relief of Price yesterday
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 The thing im seeing the curve of his foot, it doesn't match up with the bag? Can you see all of the bag too? Honestly that is what they need to see to overturn that. Was he out...yeah he was. But they need proof. I laugh at Pillar saying he saw daylight, he really must be SuperJew
crmr Verified Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 This thread is just here to cause drama... I think he was out but it was the correct call after review to call him safe, no way you can overturn that
Art Vandelay Verified Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 The ump was actually one of the best I've seen - really good strike-zone recognition, our players were acting like whiny bitches. Well the Jerk Store called, and they're running out of you!
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I'll give RJF until next game to say his goodbyes.

I think he was out but it was the correct call after review to call him safe, no way you can overturn that I agree. We cant even agree definitively on here whether he was safe or out for sure and I still cant say for sure looking at a still shot. In that case the only thing to do is to let the umps call stand because thats the rule.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Derek Holland: Texas Rangers Pitcher Allegedly Wipes Backside With Blue Jays Towel During Game 2 of the American League Division Series on Friday, Holland was in the bullpen when he was filmed picking up a Toronto Blue Jays rally towel and wiping his backside with it. May have already been mentioned and I missed it.

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 (edited) I say show it to the team, might help motivate them somehow. This. That's the only thing that this should be used for. Edited October 10, 2015 by THANOS
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I say show it to the team, might help motivate them. Anything is worth a shot at this point. Fans sounded amused to me, so I think he was just having some fun with them and who knows what the hell they were saying. lol
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Hahahaha that's hilarious. I'm sure people are going to try to make that a much bigger deal than whats actually happening there.

CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I was at the game. Sick atmosphere. Too bad we lost, it was devastating.

EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Yeah, seems inconclusive. Pretty sure the review would have gone in our favour if it was originally called an out for that very reason. Just one of those situations of inconclusive evidence/call on the field stands.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 If his foot didn't come off the bag where the hell did it go? It clearly moves away.
37stieb Verified Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Well it's kind of weird, that after 20 plus years ago the jays were in the playoffs and you forget how they got shafted in the 90's. This play reminds me of the Gruber triple play. In both cases a tag was applied and the end result was safe. Even at the same bag http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1291&d=1444440212
