I wonder if the corresponding move is Manoah to AAA or is it Jackson back on leave to visit his son?

If it's Jackson or demoting Francis, it's not great, as we should add an extra BP arm after Manoah's short start instead of keeping him on with all those off-days coming. There's an off-day 6 days from now, which is perfect, as it keeps the other 5 starters on an extra day of rest still.

Manoah is just not needed.

Manoah is good speculation. Danner's numbers are inflated by him getting absolutely f***ed on fly balls that are ending up as homers. Probably a direct result of playing in a bandbox like Buffalo where Vlad had an MVP like Season.

Another elite swing and miss reliever with some of the best stuff in the organization. Intrigued to see him even if its only until Green and Romano come back.

Definitely a band box, so the Jays hitters now are like rookie ball level? 222M of the worst hitters ever placed on an MLB field?

I can teach you how to actually read statistics and follow logical conversations and points, but I'm going to have to start charging you because I only have so much spare time and there is just so much stupid

They said Ryu was ok but my only other thought in addition to yours is that they feel he needs to skip a start after the ball to his knee.

Yeah, they're saying the right things about Ryu, so I'm hoping that means he's good. Worse case, they can always line-up Manoah in AAA with the days Ryu is starting, and if the latter needs an IL stint, you can call Manoah back up.

Eye opener for me was when Shulman said the average on base plus slugging in Triple A was over .800, what with the automated strike zone or challenge rules.

Might take a little sheen off all those guys seemingly raking in Buffalo.

4.98 runs per game on average, per team, in 2022

5.60 in 2023

12% increase in offense year to year

so.... yeah.

but this is why wRC+ exists!

Tiedemann did not have it in AA tonight. Got 2 outs and removed after 3 runs. Offspeed was off except a couple strikes. Mostly 1 pitch pitcher. Not sure why his offspeed pitches have been so wild in AA vs everywhere else

Was it at home? Maybe a mound issue? Do all minor league levels use the pitch clock and Automated Strike Zone? Maybe that's a factor if not.

Was at home, yes clock, no automated zone. But the offspeed pitches were very wild. Some close balls, but just very off tonight

Not many people probably have because I cornered the market and drafted him in all four leagues

6’7 long limbed kid outta JUCO with nasty stuff in a great organization for developing pitching

Eno said his stuff+ on the fastball was like 200 during the futures game

BA has always been pretty high on him

Well I think they’re the best evaluators so that’s promising

Jace Bohrofen just hit his 3rd HR in 3 games in Dunedin.

Kid rakes. Off to great start in his professional career.

Mitch White just gave up 2 HRs and 3 ER with a walk and no K's through one inning. This guy is done.

Maybe

Definitely needs a pitch redesign
