Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Tiedemann left with an elbow or arm injury after he threw a pitch to the 2nd batter in the 4th. Pointed at his arm, had the trainer come out and left

Slade Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Damn that motion at the end forearm strain :|
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Pointed at his bicep, hopefully a strain or cramp
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Author Posted May 4, 2023 Not surprised. I've learned not to get too excited about pitching prospects anymore.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 I want to cry. You jinxed him by multiple posts that he would be with the big club this year.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 You jinxed him by multiple posts that he would be with the big club this year. Forgive me for choosing to be excited about something.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Biceps discomfort for Teideman. Let's pray it's nothing serious.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 12 K/9 2 BB/9 1.23 ERA Thankfully we ended up with Mitch White
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 Biceps discomfort for Teideman. Let's pray it's nothing serious. Bicep sounds much better than the infamous “triceps injury” that is basically code for elbow f***ed. Hopefully nothing too serious
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 12 K/9 2 BB/9 1.23 ERA Thankfully we ended up with Mitch White I wouldn’t get too worked up over prospects that are no longer with the organization. There’s a much higher chance he ends up as Mitch White vs repeating those numbers in the majors or even coming close to being a mid-rotation guy.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 12 K/9 2 BB/9 1.23 ERA Thankfully we ended up with Mitch White lol... we needed White? And so what...
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 lol... we needed White? And so what... We needed Mitch White to post near an 8 ERA in 43 innings pitched? Surely any AAA scrub could have done that. It was a really bad trade at the time. And will continue to be very bad trade.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 I own Nick Frasso in the LOD. He will be a stud.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 I wonder if Santos has experienced any uptick on the velocity? Lots of swing and miss but I remember reading he was only averaging low 90's with his FB?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 Santos has a pretty funky delivery. I can see both how it would lead to command issues and for his stuff to be hard to hit when they’re swinging at it.

They're allowed to make mistakes and we're allowed to criticism them. They're not infallible. And this criticism is far from revisionist history either. Many of us hated it the minute it was announced.

Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 guys, don't forget about alex de jesus!!! he is hitting uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh .181/.263/.375 in Vancouver Haha yeah I checked the other night because I saw that he had a walkoff bomb, but that's been the lone bright spot for him.

Brah I’m not worked up all I did was post his stats and acknowledge I’m thankful we at least ended up with Mitch White for a top 100 prospect
