SRF getting back on track so far today: 7 K's and 0 BB through 5 innings against the Hartford Yard Goats.

 

I think I need to start collecting MiLB hats. So many phenomenal mascots.

Pentecost's walk rate is at 3.8% right, probably attributed to the fact that he's hitting everything. Strikeout rate isn't outrageously high (24.8%). If he could just learn to take walks, that'd be nice.

I like the Lugnuts name but I don't like the design on any of their hats.

 

The Canadians and Bisons have decent designs. The Buffalo has a leg kick, lol. I guess the Buffalo logo is too cluttered on the hat. I would buy that Canadians hat though. Pretty cool.

The Canadians and Bisons have decent designs. The Buffalo has a leg kick, lol. I guess the Buffalo logo is too cluttered on the hat. I would buy that Canadians hat though. Pretty cool.

 

Agree on the Lugnuts. I just don't like the logo. I appreciate that the Lugnut was anthropomorphized but he doesn't look menacing or tough or anything. He looks like he just got his ass kicked or something. They could do a much better job with that.

 

The two you mentioned aren't bad. I think there are better out there though. But an all blue Bisons hat with just the Bison logo and no letter "B" might be the best minor league hat.

I find that Canadians logo really generic looking, like an off brand hat designed to blandly evoke but not infringe on the Cincinatti Reds logo.

Yeah I hate the two tone hats when it comes to the bill of the cap. The old Red and Blue T-Bird hat was atrocious.

 

I usually don't care for the two tone hats when the front panel is a different color either but I like them better than the different colored bill. I don't mind the white panel hats for that reason. I think they look better on the field in a full uniform with the white jerseys than they do for the casual wearer though.

 

I'm thinking of getting an all blue Bisons hat as well as a Canadians hat that has the Mounty. Both are growing on me.
