P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 He'll be up by the end of the month, whether it's to push Toles to 4th OF or replace A-Gon. Yeah, I really don't think the Dodgers can keep him down for longer than that.
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Bichette hits a 1-2 line drive single to RF to score a run.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Alford 2-2 so far, double, single, and SB
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Alford 2-2 so far, double, single, and SB Wow has he been on fire!
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Alford now 3-4 tonight. Batting .500, .600 OBP after ten games. Danny Jansen also 3-4, now batting .444...... could see this guy take over for Martin. Defense is reportedly good.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 How long before they move up...2 months? Mid June is typically when first promotions happen....

Nice to see his bat off to a nice start.

With McGuire at AA could see Jansen at Dunedin for the year. Takes longer for catchers to be ready for MLB. But if Jansen keeps hitting, they can't hold him back.
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Bichette swings out of his shoes everytime.
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Bichette struckout but reached 1st on the wild pitch. Vlad works the count full and draws a walk. Bradley Jones hits a bomb for a 3 run HR
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Vlad Jr hit a line drive single and Bradley Jones just hit another 3 run homer.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Never thought I would say this but might be nice to drive down to Lansing, Michigan to watch a Baseball game.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Maybe he's a prospect again? Maybe, but he's old for A+
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Maybe, but he's old for A+ He'll obviously be moving up quickly if he can stick behind the dish.

z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Just saying, if we could get the nickname Bo Bitches going, I would be happy. I know I've been banging that drum for a while but every time I hear Bichette I see Grandad from the Boondocks when he nicknames himself Bitches
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Tristan Pompey slashing a cool .371/.483/.573 as a sophomore at Kentucky, top 10 in the SEC in a lot of stats. Should be a day 1 selection in 2018 at this rate. Might be better than his brother? Not sure how his power/defense/speed tools actually grade out but it's clear he can hit.

I remember reading that his bat is a fair bit more advanced than Dalton's at the same age.
metafour Verified Member Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Greene supposedly hit 101 mph in the 4th inning today. Hot stadium gun? Probably, but that is still slinging it.

Bautista is currently killing the team right now with his lack of production when there's a potentially better option in the minors...

There's no reason to believe this is anything other than a hot start, he shouldn't even be in the conversation for a callup
