I know I made a lot of devil's advocate posts yesterday, and while I still believe that we should take a cautiously optimistic approach to this trade at best, I think it's only fair to throw a bone to the optimists as well.

 

Regarding Tulowitzki's injury history, some think that the altitude in Colorado was a significant factor (he literally had a hyperbaric chamber to sleep in at home for a "richer oxygen atmosphere") and that him recently adopting Novak Djokovic's training routine will help him. Anthopoulos also stated in his interview on PTS that he thinks a lot of Tulo's trouble in his legs was due to a muscle imbalance, caused by the hip problem he had repaired in 2014. He thinks that the hip stuff is behind him and that it will help with the rest of his leg issues as well.
