I do. It was a long shot play. If he were running home, maybe, but not that play. That was clearly a station-to-station type of hit and Martin would have focused everything on 3rd base; it's not like there was other chaos going on around the basepaths to create indecision.

Plus, JB and EE up next. Gotta disagree with this aggression.

long shot because after the fact you saw the fielder make a strong accurate throw. As a runner you're trying to judge where the outfielder is and how hard the grounder is hit in relation to where you are as you round 2nd base. That split second decision making process is much more difficult than the one you as a fan sitting on your ass drinking a beer watching a slow motion replay and there would have been an inning ending double play on the ball EE hit so it didn't matter in the end anyways..

This forum has the most reactionary group of people i've ever seen in my life. It's actually pretty ridiculous

Loup is good against LHB but my god he scares the crap out of me when he comes into games with runners on base.

Yeah, nice job excusing a stupid play by cracking at the critic. He was out by a mile; it was a risky play when the risk wasn't necessary.

And whatever @ calling out "after the fact" and then mentioning EE maybe hitting into a DP. Better to risk being thrown out trying to stretch an extra base for a shallow single?

Surprised we got a call from an ump for once

The difference between Martin and Navarro behind the plate is quite noticeable lol.
