Especially since they just took 2/3 in Tampa.

 

Rays are due for a plunge in the standings for multiple reasons:

 

1. Not enough hitting (11th in OPS, 13th in runs scored

2. Overworked bullpen (261 IP, most in AL)

3. Haven't faced contending teams or the AL East. They've lost 4 of their 6 vs. the AL East, and have a potential season-deciding road trip with the Yanks and Royals next weekend.

 

Plus, there's no guarantee what they'll get from Matt Moore. Not exactly much room for error here.
