I have to say I never understood why people were so against the announcer being a homer. I grew up a White Sox fan (Thomas, Ventura, Durham, Black Jack, Bere, Fernandez, Thigpen.....awesome) and I always enjoyed Hawk.

 

 

Although.....as I write this....all I can hear are the Jays announcers with a large slab of Russell Martin's wang in their mouth and it makes me want to punch something.....so perhaps I don't like homers after thinking about it. AAAwwwwww I hate hearing Buck and Pat assume that Jose is always talking to players about their hitting and about the game.........makes me furious. What a mess this post is.
