How did this happen?

 

Pablo Sandoval did a hard slide on Johnathon Schoop, causing Schoop to tear his PCL and sprain his MCL. It incensed the O's, causing Jimenez to throw at Sandoval (leading to Ubaldo's ejection.) We'll see what MLB decides to do regarding discipline on both Sandoval and Jimenez.. although both should be suspended.
