BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Some one is going to get hurt like this
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 How did Hendricks get a quality start. Shocking just shocking
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Defense has been ridiculous. Gibby took a risk in throwing Hendriks back out there and it miraculously paid off.
8D Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 why is lawrie so hestitant to play 2B again? he's more than athletic enough to play the position at a very high level
bowld Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Time for the bats to wake up. only 3 hits thus far
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Ummm... What's that line about great defense making mediocre pitching look good? Yeah, I see what they mean
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Best defensive game of the year!
awsomest Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 They can make a movie about this team. payrollparametersball staring seth rogan as AA
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Time for the bats to wake up. only 3 hits thus far Jays have 6.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 why is lawrie so hestitant to play 2B again? he's more than athletic enough to play the position at a very high level Cause he is on red bulls and wants to rely on reaction plays.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Hendricks is pitching for 7 or 8 ER.
Convo Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 why is lawrie so hestitant to play 2B again? he's more than athletic enough to play the position at a very high level He belongs at 3B. If he wants to excel there he should play there and only there. But everyone agrees this (splitting time at 2B) is the right thing to do for now.
bowld Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Jays have 6. My bad. Too much wine with dinner and read the Rays totals on the scoreboard. LOL
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Amazed Hendricks is still in the game.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Hendriks needs to throw a few more off speed pitches. Navarro doesn't call enough fastballs with Hutch who has a good one and calls too many with Hendriks who has a mediocre one.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Have you even seen his xFIP? Thank you. He's pitching like a #3 starter. Even if some of the deep flies were doubles or triples, he'd still be able to strand 70% of those runners. Not walking anyone has helped his cause a lot too. Defense has been great but Hendriks is doing his part.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 If the wall was 3 centimeters closer this game would be 20-2
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Take pitches...jesus. We need to get Archer out, not keep him in for an inning or two longer.
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 If Tampa wants to move Chris Archer, I'd take him on for sure

Defense has been great but Hendriks is doing his part. Unfortunately, he was being sarcastic. But a decent amount of K's and no walks is promising, like you said, only 10% of flyballs should be homeruns, lol @ people saying he's lucky not to have given up 4 or 5.

Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Buckholz on the DL is bad news?
