His ADP is in the 80s in redraft leagues.

 

He has immense dynasty value. Shortstop Aaron Judge is the upshot so... yeah.

It's probably the projected .233 batting average. Most sites do their rankings by plain old generic 5x5 stats for like 12 teamers. That BA supplies negative value in most cases.

So he’s projected for like a .710 OPS and that’s 110 wRC+? Mlb better juice up the ball a bit

one of those high tempo guys with injury problems, look at the PA year to year

 

so yeah... good player but horrible team and injury issues

 

he is underrated though if you are in a draft or something where he is going 50th for outfielders. I bet his projections would be closer to late 30s.

Brown is the more valuable piece long term but Senga is going to throw more innings this year so if you’re trying to win he might fit your team better.

Brown has an excellent arsenal but can struggle with control. His upside is a #1 if he improves control over time. Who knows with Senga, he likely is a mid rotation starter

There was talk of Betts playing more 2nd base in 2023. But I'm thinking that was if the Dodgers were able to get Judge? Is there any chance he gets 2nd base eligibility or is he strictly an OF at this point?

I think Betts at 2B is quite doubtful. Chris Taylor, Max Muncy, Michael Busch will get 2B reps before Betts.

Yeah, from what I read Betts loved playing second so I wasn't sure if they still considered it. But it doesn't make sense with the roster they have.

He's gotten 7 games there with 5 starts in each of the past two years so it is possible.

 

I've seen reports that they plan on playing him more there as well but given their outfield situation I'm not sure if they still plan on doing that.

 

Bottom line is that I don't think it's anything you can count on.

Is Trevor Story cooked? I checked out his Savant page and a lot of blue and not much red. He was dropped in my dynasty league. I was going to take Painter with my pick but wondered about Story. Stick with Painter?

I think Story is done as a great player though. He wasn't even a good hitter his last year in Colorado.
